Dairy Queen

I love Dairy Queen but I wish they would do some upgrading. It’s only open in the warm seasons due to there only being outdoor seating. Don’t get me wrong everyone loves the outdoor tables but I think we all wish there was an indoor seating area. It’s very tiny on the inside and the line often flows out. Also the restroom is very gross and old. I rarely see anyone use it. I’m not quite sure how accurate this is but from what I’ve heard they pay people below minimum wage and get away with it because they aren’t open all year.

I know it gets busy in there, but I just wish the employees would mix the blizzards better. We had four blizzards in our group. Three done by the same DQ person and the 4th done by another DQ person. All four were not mixed well. All of them had all of the mix-ins in the top half and basically none in the bottom half. This happens often. Can you either upgrade your equipment or train your people to mix them correctly please?! If I wanted half a serving of vanilla soft serve, I'd order that.

I love DQ. But the Berea location has been there ever since I was a kid and seems to have never upgraded it's facility. Yes, new paint, new parking lot and some new tables but what about a new building or even a new putting area. It's so old. They would drive so much more business if they added a larger rear outdoor patio and new putting area. Also too, the crazy raise in prices with making sizes smaller isn't fun. Maybe it just needs a younger/newer owner. Great employees.

I moved a year ago and this location is the closest to my house. My son's birthday was two weeks after we moved and I figured I'd give them a chance making my son's cake since my son had a specific request. And OH MY GOD they knocked it out of the park! I was absolutely blown away with the design! I went back to them this year with another request and they absolutely exceeded my expectations which were already high! The staff is so sweet and very helpful. My family go all the time for ice cream. They are amazing and I highly recommend them!
