When eating out in Baton Rouge, safety is a big concern, basically you don't want to get murdered, especially when youre hungry. Come to think of it, you wouldn't want to get murdered full either, that's what makes this a great location. You don't feel like you're going to get murdered. Big plus. Deep breath and relax. Las Palmas has the most unique pepper shakers I've ever seen. Not sure who or what you'd need pepper for at a Mexican place, but here they are. I'd love to hear the story of why they need spring loaded caps to keep the pepper in the shakers....what happened? I really enjoyed the design on the table. Sweet tea was good. Service was fast and pleasant.

One of the best Mexican restaurants in Baton Rouge. The service is a+ and the food is really good. We went in during the busiest part of lunch and they were able to get us seated and had our meals within 10 minutes. Highly recommended
