Review Dooby's Coffee - Baltimore

David Hudak
It's a pretty good place just to sit and read a book or do work. The food was great; I had the Korean cheesesteak. The bread was toasted perfectly and the bulgogi was delicious. The side of potato bites were a little over salted, but they had just the right amount of crisp, and the house made ketchup was actually pretty great!

Really great and delicious Asian build your own rice or greens bowl. The food was delicious the coffee was great. The food take quite a bit to cook but if you can wait it out it’s worth the wait. The good smelt and tasted great. Left feeling full and happy.

Lovely cafe with amazing atmosphere in Mount Vernon. Perfect for chit chat and studying. Many seats have outlets and there is disability accessible seating. Staff is also very attentive and fast. The drinks were just okay, the lemonade was excessively sugary. Parking is also relatively hard to find but there is paid street parking and a paid lot around the corner. Look forward to coming back

The service here is lovely. The host(ess) was amazing and they were very polite. The place is very clean and organized plus the music is pretty chill too. But the food! So good! Most of the options are asian fusion. The portions are generous, and nothing was overcooked, underseasoned or unflavored. Absoluely excellent. I am definitely coming back and soon.

This place is awesome! Everytime ive come here its been amazing. Today I went and had a meeting here with my business partner and some other people. The service was great and everyone was so kind. Then came the food. I got the noodles with pork and it was delicious. It was so good i had to get some buns to take home to my wife. Truly a not so hidden gem in baltimore. Whoever this Phil Han guy is knows what hes doing with this restaurant business!

My partner and I went here to grab some breakfast, and the food here was excellent! The atmosphere was nice, too. I got the steak and egg sandwich- SO good. My partner got the Homestyle breakfast. We were both happy with our meals. I also got a little chocolate chip banana bread which was particularly delightful (all of the pastries they had on display looked really good) They have separate dining areas for people working and people just eating; I saw another review that complained about the laptop policy, but it’s just the upper area that asks that you refrain from using them.

Amazing food, we didn’t like that no one cleaned the tables down especially during busy times. However, this places is 10/10 for their food and quality. Definitely recommend anyone traveling to Baltimore City looking for a hole in the wall experience.

Good eats and the matcha latte was yummy. We got the pork buns but I recommend getting chicken instead. The pork belly can be tough sometimes. Marinated tofu had a great blend of flavor.

Ordered the super greens bowl with marinated tofu as protein and a fried egg (which was extra). The bowl itself was satiating, and the Korean-fusion elements provided a unique flavor that differentiates it from your average salad. It was just great tasting food, and perfect portion size for me personally. My friend ordered the avocado toast which did appear a bit small, though. Average price for this type of cafe fare. Definitely visit if you’re in the area for the interesting Korean take on classic cafe bites, but it’s nothing super special otherwise.

I had the spicy egg and cheese including the French toast. It was wonderful and there was plenty of seating, much more than expected and the service and staff are great. The food was fantastic and very fresh! I highly recommend this place for all occasions!

Oh my gosh this food was FANTASTIC! EAT HERE. It was a fabulous and full of flavors! I highly recommend the cheese steak. I never would have thought to add the fusion flavors to it but honestly I never want a different cheese steak now. Also the kimchi potato salad was genius. So many clever and yummy options and the atmosphere is very clean, trendy and welcoming.

Lunch here with the besties. Ambience was nice and vegan options. Not the most flavorful dumplings, but solid. Let us sit there a while and the staff was kind to the houseless people around the area which I appreciated.

This place was a 10/10! It wasn’t the best ramen I’ve ever had but everything else was absolutely amazing. The bao buns were the best we’ve ever had and the pie was out of this world.

I love coming here. I usually get the Japchae noodles since they’re gluten free. The order lasts me two days and it’s delicious! They have the best iced oatmilk latte that I’ve tried as well. They seem to care about what beans they use and bean freshness, which is vital. The space itself is great, with chill lighting, big windows, and ample seating. Finally, the people who work here are always nice and helpful.

If the lovely staff isn't enough for you, have the strawberry scone and/or hot chocolate. Actually, don't... unless you leave one for me. Addendum: There's French toast in here somewhere ^_^ In short, weekend brunch is *also* great.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself at this coffee shop. You can’t eat inside just yet. You do have to order online then go pick up the food but they do provide the option of you eating it outside because they do have outside furniture. Spectacular experience. Would 100% recommend the steak and egg sandwich, it was to die for. The potatoes were perfectly salted and the bread was perfectly toasted. 10/10 experience, a great breakfast.

I love going here for brunch on the weekends. Though during peak hours it can get a bit loud here. I went in during the evening for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the kimchi ramyun. It had a nice flavor and it was my first time having pork belly, which was fantastic. I was expecting it to be somewhat spicy, but it wasn't and that's okay. I always get the caramel miso latte (hot or iced), but this was my first time having it with almond milk, and it was still outstanding. It is a nice mixture of savory and sweet. ALSO, I got a donut for the first time and let me tell you... It was better than I expected! It was lemon ginger, and while I couldn't taste the ginger at all, the powerful lemon flavor, and the yeasted texture of the dough was to die for. I almost want to drive back to get another one. I won't... but I'll be back.

By far the best Steph, egg and cheese sandwich I've ever had in my life & the coffee is amazing. The staff is absolutely top-notch. I suggest this place for breakfast over any place in all of Baltimore.

I had the Korean wings and Far West omelette and it was one of the best meals I've had in awhile. The omelette was so big and hearty, I had to save half for later, and it was just as good the next day. They even serve their potatoes with ketchup on the plate. They know what's up. The Korean wings are super crunchy and gluten free. The sauce is perfection. Service is friendly and quick. Even though they were obviously busy, they take care of you.

We both really enjoyed our meals here! My wife got the pork belly eggs Benedict, and I did the build-a-Bowl (which is essentially a custom bibimbap bowl). I loved the creativity of both dishes and the flavors were right on. A little pricey, but that’s to be expected based on what the rent must be. Looking forward to going back!

Simply menu, unbelievably food and service. Go to place when I'm in Mount Vernon.

Good food. Good place for work meeting. I enjoyed the breakfast sandwich.

The bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich was amazing!!

I love this place! Great neighborhood place to do homework.
Harrison Bonvissuto
The food and atmosphere is fabulous! Definitely 5 star worthy. Unfortunately we tried to go tonight and found that their kitchen had closed an HOUR early. My girlfriend and I were extremely disappointed as we had traveled specifically for the noodle bowls. I think the management should seriously reconsider closing the kitchen early as I am now a lot less likely to come back, despite the great food.
Karen Cepress
The food is great and the service even better. I love the avocado toast,

Really great mix of Korean and American cuisine! The steak and egg is a combination of bulgogi and breakfast sandwich worth a try. Great atmosphere also...

Dooby's has everything you want in a warm, neighborhood cafe/restaurant: super-friendly staff, terrific vibe and great coffee, pastries and lunchtime food. While I haven't been here later than the mid-afternoon, I'm sure all this good stuff continues through the evening. Visit. You'll be very happy.

I've been a big fan since it opened. The food and drink has always been excellent, and service speed has come a long way.
Glen Brown
The people are nice, the food a bit drab. Overall it is a nice place.
Alexandra Chambers
We love this place! We order the build-a-bowl with rice, tofu, and ghost chili sauce! The avocado toast is wonderful and my fiancé really enjoys the Chesapeake dumplings.
Louella Male-Legaspi
We loved the “Damn good pie”❤️
