I love going here for brunch on the weekends. Though during peak hours it can get a bit loud here. I went in during the evening for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the kimchi ramyun. It had a nice flavor and it was my first time having pork belly, which was fantastic. I was expecting it to be somewhat spicy, but it wasn't and that's okay. I always get the caramel miso latte (hot or iced), but this was my first time having it with almond milk, and it was still outstanding. It is a nice mixture of savory and sweet. ALSO, I got a donut for the first time and let me tell you... It was better than I expected! It was lemon ginger, and while I couldn't taste the ginger at all, the powerful lemon flavor, and the yeasted texture of the dough was to die for. I almost want to drive back to get another one. I won't... but I'll be back.
By far the best Steph, egg and cheese sandwich I've ever had in my life & the coffee is amazing. The staff is absolutely top-notch. I suggest this place for breakfast over any place in all of Baltimore.
It's a pretty good place just to sit and read a book or do work. The food was great; I had the Korean cheesesteak. The bread was toasted perfectly and the bulgogi was delicious. The side of potato bites were a little over salted, but they had just the right amount of crisp, and the house made ketchup was actually pretty great!
Really great and delicious Asian build your own rice or greens bowl. The food was delicious the coffee was great. The food take quite a bit to cook but if you can wait it out it’s worth the wait. The good smelt and tasted great. Left feeling full and happy.
Lovely cafe with amazing atmosphere in Mount Vernon. Perfect for chit chat and studying. Many seats have outlets and there is disability accessible seating. Staff is also very attentive and fast. The drinks were just okay, the lemonade was excessively sugary. Parking is also relatively hard to find but there is paid street parking and a paid lot around the corner. Look forward to coming back
The service here is lovely. The host(ess) was amazing and they were very polite. The place is very clean and organized plus the music is pretty chill too. But the food! So good! Most of the options are asian fusion. The portions are generous, and nothing was overcooked, underseasoned or unflavored. Absoluely excellent. I am definitely coming back and soon.
This place is awesome! Everytime ive come here its been amazing. Today I went and had a meeting here with my business partner and some other people. The service was great and everyone was so kind. Then came the food. I got the noodles with pork and it was delicious. It was so good i had to get some buns to take home to my wife. Truly a not so hidden gem in baltimore. Whoever this Phil Han guy is knows what hes doing with this restaurant business!
The breakfast food here is SOOO good, I’m addicted. It’s pretty affordable prices too. try their spicy jelly applewood bacon egg and cheese sandwich
My partner and I went here to grab some breakfast, and the food here was excellent! The atmosphere was nice, too. I got the steak and egg sandwich- SO good. My partner got the Homestyle breakfast. We were both happy with our meals. I also got a little chocolate chip banana bread which was particularly delightful (all of the pastries they had on display looked really good)
They have separate dining areas for people working and people just eating; I saw another review that complained about the laptop policy, but it’s just the upper area that asks that you refrain from using them.
Amazing food, we didn’t like that no one cleaned the tables down especially during busy times.
However, this places is 10/10 for their food and quality.
Definitely recommend anyone traveling to Baltimore City looking for a hole in the wall experience.
Good eats and the matcha latte was yummy. We got the pork buns but I recommend getting chicken instead. The pork belly can be tough sometimes. Marinated tofu had a great blend of flavor.
Ordered the super greens bowl with marinated tofu as protein and a fried egg (which was extra). The bowl itself was satiating, and the Korean-fusion elements provided a unique flavor that differentiates it from your average salad. It was just great tasting food, and perfect portion size for me personally. My friend ordered the avocado toast which did appear a bit small, though.
Average price for this type of cafe fare. Definitely visit if you’re in the area for the interesting Korean take on classic cafe bites, but it’s nothing super special otherwise.
