Food was good and came out fairly quickly. Expected a little more for the price but seems pretty average for the area. Waitress was pleasant and quick to service table. Calamari was alright, Veal Parmigiana was pretty good and my daughter was not very impressed with Fettuccine.

I Visited Sabatino's for the first time last weekend and I was pleasantly surprised. Despite it being extremely busy on a Saturday night service was pretty fast. The Chicken Parm was arguably the best I've ever had. The Chicken noodle soup was very fresh u can tell they make the pasta in house. The drink menu is really old school,They have a very extensive wine collection.

We flew into Baltimore for our daughters graduation and wanted to select a good place to eat! I think we hit the jackpot with Sabatino’s!
We wanted a restaurant closer to John Hopkins University and knowing we had picky eaters we wanted a place where everyone could enjoy a great meal.
All six in our party had a great time!
I chose the Penne w/Vodka sauce - it was terrific! Four of the group chose the Fettuccine Alfredo (🤷♂️) the other chose the Fettuccine Felicia. Everyone enjoyed their selection but what did matter, it was graduation night and time spent with family & friends is what this was all about!
No one wanted dessert but me so I selected the White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake! Of course I shared had to let the table know what they passed on!
Not sure if we’ll make it back to Baltimore anytime soon but I would recommend going here! This was an early dinner with reservation was at 4:30 so it wasn’t crowded.

I am from out of town and going to a convention in Baltimore, and I come in for a lunch before the conventions starts. I walked in with some dignitaries and almost got confused with them, but then I talked to the staff and got my own table. I ordered an Eggplant Parmigiana and was blown away. The Eggplant Parmigiana was one of the best I ever had. The eggplant was soft but not slimy, a difficult task to achieve. The sauce was so meaty and homemade, and the cheese was flavorful and stringy. The spaghetti on the side was excellent, which really showed the fragrance in the sauce. I can see why this place is an institution of Baltimore’s Little Italy. Everything was excellent, and thank you for allowing my me to dine here!

The Alfredo sauce was fantastic!! I could taste the ingredients!! All of the food was amazing. We ordered the Fettucine Alfredo with chicken, Penne in Vodka Sauce with chicken and the Shrimp Fra Diavolo. Great food and quiet ambiance.

I have not been to Sabatino's in about 30+ years. We went on a Friday evening with about 15-20 people. We were always seated quickly and the staff was great. Well, needless to say, nothing has changed. I was craving Fettuccine Alfredo and went to the one place I knew I would not be disappointed. I was greeted with great customer service, order was taken and in 20 minutes, I was walking out the door. The portions were not as hefty as they use to be, however, it was still good and I did not realize how much I miss their bread that comes along with the meal. This is truly a staple in Little Italy that is still serving amazing food 30+ years later.

It is a very cozy resturant been around since the 50's. They make their own pasta from what i can tell. Service was very fast and food was enjoyable. They are worth going to. The meat ravioli was pretty tasty portion size was comfortable but you wont be stuffed.

Had not been to Sabitinos in years but was very pleased from start to finish. Great Bookmaker salad with their house dressing.. so good. Then a hearty serving of spaghetti with fresh bread. Great service too.

Great meal at Sabatinos. Chicken Parm, Chicken Alfredo, Meatballs, shrimp Renato. Overall food was excellent though one member of our party wouldn’t Roger the Gnocchi. We also had some desert which was universally enjoyed. I would like to go back - we really enjoyed the restaurant and the food. Thanks Sabatinos.

A wonderful landmark!!
Always a great old school italian family restaurant feel.
Food- as always, very good. I had chicken Alfredo. My wife had the chicken lynn, except with marinara. Of course, we had to start with a house salad, so we could get the house dressing. We also started with the short rib ravioli. All delicious
The staff was very friendly as usual. This time around our waiter was not nearly as attentive as we'd like, but out of the dozens and dozens of times we've been here, it was a first, and they were very busy (which was great to see), so I'll give a pass on that one.
If you havnt tried Sabatinos, and you're looking for some good, old school, home cooked Italian, definitely give them a try.

Been coming here for years. Wanted to surprise someone special with a Bookmaker and the best dressing in the WORLD! May Sabatino's stay in business for a thousand years. God bless and Merry Christmas.

It started with the location… the smells of old Italian homes and Italian kitchen.. the waiter was extremely informative and pleasant… the food was impeccable! I got the gnocchi with meat sauce and I cannot believe how amazing it was!! Truly the best Italian food I’ve had since my mimi passed!!

I always enjoy a nice home cooked Italian meal and Sabatino's has it down. The portions are large and delicious and the prices are affordable for the amount of food you are served. Staff is professional and engaging and makes you feel like your at family dinner. The business is family owned for 3 generations and it's located right in the heart of Little Italy

Our waitress, whose name we learned from the check was Kitty, completely ruined our evening. She asked our drink order before we even opened our menu by saying "what do you want to drink, we have beer, wine, iced tea, coke products?". When we ordered, she asked me if I was planning to eat some of my boyfriend's salad (like that is any of her business) and when I said no she asked me which side I wanted. The final straw was when I watched her take note of my empty drink and more than 5 minutes later drop another one on my table saying "it's free refills". I had to ask my boyfriend if we looked like we couldn't afford refills.
As I read through all of these 1 and 2 star reviews, every single one of them mentions this same woman.
Our saving grace was that my boyfriend complained to the two older gentleman at the front and they assigned a new server. Our original server still brought us our food, but one of the gentleman watched her and she was a completely different person while she delivered our food. For the rest of the night, Chrissy took care of us. She was awesome! I would definitely recommend that anyone who goes in request to sit in her section. If it wasn't for her, we probably would not ever go back to Sabatino's. She was very attentive and pleasant, and her and the older gentleman both apologized for the other server (one of them called her Ms. Nastypants),checked on us many times, and saved our evening.
My two star review had nothing to do with the food and everything to do with the service.

The food was excellent and I would give it five stars if not for the most bizarre experience with the waitress we have ever had. My husband ordered a NY strip steak and I had the eggplant and veal. Our meals came and we started eating. My husband commented that he didn't remember it saying there were mushrooms on the steak. After about four bites of his steak the waitress comes running over and says "you're eating the wrong steak" like it was his fault and proceeds to take his plate right out from under him as he was chewing. We were flabbergasted. Before we could say anything she was gone with his food. A minute later, she returns with the plate and says "just eat it". Like what was she going to do with it, give it to someone else? It was the craziest thing. I would return next time we visit a Baltimore because the food was great but we will make sure we get exactly what we ordered

I am closing in on 6 weeks in Baltimore and this has been by far the WORST meal I have had, my friends and I joked that it would be the most memorable. I don't know which was worse the food or the service. Walking in felt like we were entering a time warp. The restaurant is seriously outdated. I didn't think anything of it, sometimes there are diamonds in the rough, not the case here.
We were sat by a kind older gentleman and then the fun began. Our middle aged server clearly didn't want to be at work and we were imposing on her Friday night, she was REALLY abrasive. We had questions about the menu, things like what type of pasta came with the chicken parm, and her responses were just curt and rude.
We ordered our food and 3 out of 4 of us chose salads with our meal. The only options for salad dressing were oil and vinegar or "house" creamy Italian which the server said she makes in the back, which is an extra 50 cents a person, huh, why wouldn't you build that into the price of it?? We got our salads and she nastily, tells the one of us that "he didn't get a salad because he got spaghetti", by the way he never questioned why he didn't have a salad. The house dressing was flavorless and chalky, not good.
Our meals come, chicken parm, brasciole, penne a la vodka, and I ordered the appetizer sampler which included calamari, clams casino, shrimp renato and sausage with peppers. Despite the claim on their menu, the pasta is NOT homemade and neither is their sauce. The chicken parm was like a big chicken nugget with Ragu and over cooked spaghetti. The brasciole was bland, mediocre at best. The penne a la vodka was NOT a la vodka sauce and the pasta was so OVERCOOKED that it was falling apart on the plate. The highlight of the appetizer special were the 4 pieces of sausage. The clams casino was burnt, the shrimp were so overcooked the texture was like rubber, and the calamari was flavorless and rubbery like it came out of a box, WAS NOT FRESH!!!
Our "pleasant" server returns and we ask for the check, that wasn't before she scolded one of us for not eating their dinner, and never inquires why there is more food on our plates than has been eaten. She brings us our check and returns with the receipts for us to sign where she feels the need to speak to us like children about which receipt we needed to sign.
The entire experience was bizarre, and I have read some of these 4 and 5 star reviews and have to wonder if they are employees, family or friends because the food was TERRIBLE as was the service. The only good thing about the meal was the bread and butter, glad I was able to fill up on that. This establishment is an embarrassment to "Little Italy".

I guess this place gets high marks because it’s in Little Italy in Bmore so you assume it’s good? Italian food is my favorite and this place was only ok. Ordered cheese ravioli and a side salad with the house dressing. Salad was (obviously) prepared in a large amount and my portion was just scooped out. Way too much dressing and it was iceberg lettuce. Ravioli was good but the sauce was only ok - I’ve had much better. I also ordered a drink - orange crush. They gave me OJ with vodka. I get that some places don’t make orange crushes, just say so and I would’ve ordered something else. Service was passable, but not outstanding. Overall, I’d go somewhere else next time.

This is our all time favorite restaurant. The dishes are consistent, service is quick and friendly. Since coming to know Peachy, we feel like family when we're there. The veal dishes are wonderful and gnocchi are terrific. I'm italian and I'm picky about my sauce. Sabatinos sauce is very good. Love this place!

I have been a regular customer for over 50 years. Never have I been disappointed and I have had my family there friends , business associates , relatives from Ireland. I always look forward to a visit to "Sabs". It's like going to a friends house to eat and what other restaurant can give you that feeling along with the best Italian food anywhere ! Graci amici miei !

I have been to Italy. Fell in love with Tuscany & Florence an it still calls my presence ever so gently like I belonged there.... Had my first Canoli in Rome & have been hooked ever since. had the best Veal platter an Canoli besides being right at the Piazza in Rome. Would definitely do many more times over.,

I am Italian and this is some of the worst food I’ve ever had in my life, I could’ve had a better red sauce out of a can of Chef Boyardee. The veal was NOT veal, it was beef that had been tenderized. The rest of these reviews are either employees, family members or people paid to leave reviews.

The food was great! My server was so sweet! But! Management needs to deal with the drunks appropriately. There was a group of a*holes that came in loud, were sat, were served!!, and never kicked out! In fact, they waited for their ride inside the restaurant! They were loudly passing gas without apology, cursing, objectifying other patrons, spilling wine, demanding that the servers hurry up... it was a very uncomfortable experience. I'm not sure why they even were seated, let alone allowed to order and stay to eat. It's a shame I can't post my video here. There was no apology, acknowledgment, or anything from staff. I'm sure there are other Italian restaurants in Little Italy with better controlled environments.

The best Italian I have ever had! The garlic bread is phenomenal and the staff is second to none!

Still as wonderful as always! From the moment we entered the front door (while the car was valet parked) we were treated like royalty. From the salads through dessert we were thrilled with every bite (including the mid-night snack leftovers.)

Service was amazing. Dinner was wonderful. Also received a wonderful referral to a local coffee shot for the best Cannoli's in town. A must visit.

I'm sorry, but that was the rudest service ever! I'm not cheap, but salad dressing is extra? No knife to cut the chicken? Pasta over cooked, clams burnt. When checking out told to "sign this!". There was no "how was everything?" "Thank you" "come again" . The waitress actually said "you're not gonna eat your dinner?" then walked away.
