I've been going to Sambet's in North Austin for years and was saddened when they closed after the Thanksgiving Day fire. I was thrilled to see that Doug has opened a food truck with all the stuff I like: The best Shrimp Po Boy in town, good ettouffee and good gumbo. Note: He's moved! I called today and Doug said he was on the 183 N access road between Spicewood Springs Road and Anderson Mill. And now he's closed. :-(
