Restaurant Taqueria Chapala

Very disappointed. Ordered green chicken enchiladas to go. Was handed the bag. Get home and there's green salsa spilt inside the bag. Ok no big deal maybe the extra salsa cup opened up. Open the bag and the container i was give was a meal prep plastic container with the lid missing pieces. Literally missing pieces (see pics)and the worst part is that the missing pieces were no where in the bag! So they handed me a broken container with food inside the restaurant. Still trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. I taste the food and it is not good. $10 + 2 tip down the drain. Rice had old hard pieces. Chicken was obviously not fresh. The beans were prob the only meh thing. I'm calling them now.

*01-20-2022: Will reopen after fire damage repairs* Today is 01-20-2022, couldn't take it anymore, I have to get a Taqueria Chapala Fix! Took a seat for the first time at the Chapala on Caesar Chavez Street. This location does not disappoint AND they have margaritas! This will due till South Congress location can reopen after fire damage repairs. Best wishes to the waitresses and chefs as this all happened during the Christmas celebration. Today is 12-20-2021, restaurant has closed for renovations for last couple weeks. Really looking forward to their reopen as it is my favorite place!!!
