Chi Chinese Buffet

Though we go here weekly, I have to give a bad rating. The rating is due to the decreasing service we are receiving. At first, it was like most buffets, not the best but not too bad. You would think that now that we are such regulars things would be a bit different, but it seems to only get worse. It looks like many employees have either family or friends that come to the restaurant because they chat for quite a while and their kids run rampant around the restaurant. I am there with my kids and they behave, I expect the same out of others. On top of that, the employees shout out orders to the kitchen from the dining room which is very unprofessional and almost disrespectful to their patrons who are there to enjoy a meal. Food differs each time we go. Sometimes it's exceptional, other times... not so great.

It takes alot for me to write a review. People take advantage and lie to hurt reputations of business. This my experience visiting this restaurant. I would not recommend this place. I almost fell when my flip flop got stuck on the carpet. Which happen several time during my visit. The lighting is dim and by the end of my visit. I realize how filthy this place is. The food is was your average buffet meun selection. Don't eat the sushi. It was kept at a warm temperature. I took one bit and was scared of getting sick. The prices are ridiculous! I don't mind having to pay for my 2year old child meal. But $11.95 for the 2 chicken nuggets, ice cream cone and a drink. I could of bought 2 happy meals with a toy for that price. They measure how tall your child is to determine the price. I'm 5'10 and my husband is 6'2. How can you charge a two year old full price meal? Obviously, this kid is going to be tall. So this restaurant is a big thumb down.

We walk into a nice atmospheric Chinese restaurant. Ordered our drinks went to the buffet to get out food all is well. Oh wait where is the beef and broccoli nowhere. I ask everyone I saw they don't know anything I final get a manager. When I asked her about it she said this is a buffet not a place that takes orders but will tell the kitchen to make it. Then tells me it will cost extra if I want more. So I'm limited to what I can eat at an all you can eat buffet. OK so I get the plate finally and it has An overwhelming taste of sesame. I could barely eat it. Stay away from this place at all cost.

The guy that served our table was attentive and friendly. The food was fresh and tasted great. I would have given 5 stars if not for the rude hostess that showed us to our table. She was on her phone talking and couldn't be bothered to put it away. She talked on it all the way to our table and all the way back to her desk. She did that with the people after us too. They had a baby that needed a high chair. They had to ask for the high chair two or three times because her ear buds were in and she couldn't hear them. Super rude and unprofessional.

The service is great. The place is dirty and in need of some TLC, especially in the bathrooms. Food is a weird temperature. I understand that it's a cheap buffet and it's convenient. However, I couldn't recommend this place to anyone. There were gnats, it was humid, and it smelled pretty bad inside. We took a few bites from a few dishes and left shortly after.

Best thing they serve is the water. You get an indication when you walk in the door and the paint is peeling on the door frame. The floor is dirty and the seats in the booths are coming apart and the bathrooms are absolutely filthy. The food is mediocure at best and the service is about the same. I came here years ago when this place first opened and it was pretty decent for chinese buffet but they have let themselves go. Go at your own risk...

My family and I ate at Chi Buffet when it first opened. At the time, we were impressed with the quality and quantity of the food. However, we ate there today (9/15/14) for lunch and it was one of the worst buffets I have ever had in my entire life! The quality was horrible. We agreed that all of the food had an odd taste. The General Tso's Chicken and The Sesame Chicken were all breading and very little meat. The sushi was bland. The dumpling sauce was greasy. The only good thing about the whole meal was the ice tea...so not worth the money.
