I am a official a Texan, I went to my first Luby's after moving here in 2003. I finally tried my first luby's. I have to say, it was pretty darn good. It is cafeteria sort of food. It was good, better than going to a fast food restaurant. Now that I have gone, I will go back.

Go here with an appetite! This place is all-you-can-eat, all the time. You can even get desserts. If you can't dine in, take it to go. You get the option of all you can fit in a to-go box. Great lubys food and as always very friendly staff.

Best luby's by far! It's always all-you-can-eat, and they have the usual menu. I've been to a few locations that change the menu to more basic items on the days they offer all-you-can-eat, but not here. They even include dessert with the deal. Make sure you go with an empty stomach!

I'm always a little embarrassed to admit that I love Luby's since it's known as an "old people" place. However, I do love it! My favorite dish has always been the fried fish, mac and cheese, and mash potatoes with white gravy. There is just something about Luby's that reminds me of home and is very comforting. I also love their fried shrimp as well and think it is reasonably priced as opposed to other seafood places. They also have great cheap desserts which is also a plus. Overall, Luby's will always have my heart :)
