Bob's Steak & Chop House in Austin Texas at the Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa was a wonderful dinner. We made reservations for a Monday evening Dinner. We were staying at the resort so access to the restaurant was very easy. Our waiter was very professional. The atmosphere was nice for a typically steak out.
When it came to the food, we ordered a bit. We started with the Bread with Butter and Calamari. Both were good. The Dinner was great! I had the Ribeye with Mashed Potatoes, Gravy and Carrot, while she had the Crab Cakes. We would both order the same meal again! Next time we stay at the Resort we will be back for more. If you are staying at the Resort we highly recommend having a nice dinner here.

What a magnificent service. This is an upscale chophouse.
Our waiter was great and the manager Donovan made our experience even better.
For appetizers we had the lobster bites and scallops. My oh my the lobster bites were amazing. The scallops were large in size and were almost as equally as good.
For entree’s we had the ribeye, and specials which were the wagyu & lobster with baked potato and smashed potatoes.
The ribeye was cooked to perfection as well as the wagyu.
At the end we had a brownie ice cream sundae. Which was super moist. The ice cream was great!

A++++ to the tremendous staff and management at Bobs. My wife and I were celebrating our daughter's 1st birthday and Tony (our server) made the experience wonderful. He understood the assignment and made sure we were totally accommodated. He even cut the cake we brought into the restaurant. I ordered the filet, which was excellent! My wife ordered the salmon, which was again... excellent! We also had the scalloped potatoes with peppercorn gravy and that was excellent! Even though the day Tuesday that we went was busier than expected, Robert (manager) made sure to stop by every table to meet and greet all patrons. I've been to a few Bobs before and this particular location is among the best! Great work!!

Had a great wagyu filet dome Oscar style here and good wine. Service was terrific. Highly recommended.

Food is great, service is great, and is a great addition to Barton Creek. Have been multiple times. One small request, can you please use fresh stuffed blue cheese olives for martinis instead of the bottled ones? The bottled ones you are using just aren’t that good. That’s the only thing I would ask to change.

Very good restaurant with nice ambiance, good food and good service. This restaurant is always crowded so reservations are recommended.

First time to Bob's, overall a great experience. The sides, pickles, and carrot was amazing. Although I didn't receive the bone in ribeye I ordered originally, the filet that I did receive was good. The best part of the dinner was the service and staff. Tony was amazing and a true professional. I selected an odd Malbec wine, and he knew the whole story on the family and process for that particular bottle. We will definitely be back.

Very pleasant atmosphere and very kind and patient servers attending to me, my friends and family members. I have food intolerances and the server was very knowledgeable about the menus items, so the food was delightful for me and my stomach!

We came here for my birthday and it was all high quality and a dream. Our server Kevin was especially kind and attentive. Will happily return!

First time here and it was absolutely lovely. Food was great! I had the filet mignon medium rare and they cooked it to complete perfection. Erin was our waitress and she was AMAZING! Would definitely come here again 😌

Wow. The NY Strip was prepared impeccably well. Hats off to the chef. Everything in fact was pure perfection. From the warm bread, the Chophouse salad, side of broccoli & of course the Dirty Bob. Fantastic.
The restaurant is located right outside the entrance of the Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa. The hotel is massive but necessarily so because I sure needed a walk after a meal I could not devour lol
They also offer homemade pickles & peppers. The waitress said who makes them only makes them specifically for Bob's & that they are known for them. If you don't see any on your table be sure to ask for them to give it a try.
The service was phenomenal.
I'm sure you'll be very pleased here for a special occasion or a nice treat.

I wanted to dine here a second time, because our first experience was soured by hostess wait time. I am glad we came a second time, because it reminded us of how wonderful the food was. The philly cheese steaks were incredible, the filet mignon was savory and tender, the glaze carrots were delicious and the potatoes were great. We closed out with desert, which was perfect. We sat at a table in the bar area and Ryan was phenomenal.
We highly recommend this place!

I’ll give Bob’s Steakhouse a solid 9/10 rating. Since I can’t do half stars, I’ll round down to 8/10. Jeffrey’s IMO is the best steakhouse in Austin but Bob’s is good.
The breakdown:
- Cocktails are pretty good, but lacks some creativity.
- I wasn’t too keen on the scallops. Actually pretty disappointed. The bread was okay but lacked flavors.
- The filet mignon was great and so was the other fixings.
- Had no complaints with the wait staff or anyone working there.
Aside from the cocktails and scallops, I’d say this was a pretty good meal.

Jessica and Ryan are amazing with drinks and service. We sat down with a table of 6 without a reservation and they accommodated us quickly in the bar area. I can’t recommend this location and staff more 🤍🥳

Phenomenal meal! Other than steak, we had shrimp cocktail and shrimp scampi. Service was top notch. Beautiful restaurant as well.

We were celebrating our 19 yr anniversary and the service, food and drinks were absolutely outstanding. My wife and I shared the tomatoes & onion appetizer and we each had a filet mignon with their signature scalloped potatoes with gravy. I had 2 old fashions and my wife had 1 old fashion and a glass of wine that our server highly recommended, we were really relaxed after all that but our server convinced us to have the sweetroll cheesecake for dessert that we ended up taking home but it was amazing. We spent $280 including the $50 dollar tip and we were very pleased but we did find it a bit chincy that they didn't compliment us the dessert when the manager clearly knew we were celebrating our anniversary and had come by our table twice to congratulate us.
