I've recommended this place to so many people. You can purchase tea to go or sit and enjoy a hot cup. Zhi tea turned me into a tea drinker for life. Perfect date spot. Great place to buy high quality tea. Exceptional service. 5+ starts.

Best place to get quality tea in Austin. Calming vibes and the kindest friendliest staff. Jana and Kenny are the best people and you can taste the love in every cup.
There is no food served at zhi tea.

We wanted to try different types of tea and went with 8 flights. Jana did a great job selecting 4 of them and gave us lots of interesting information

Stepping into Zhi is an amazing experience! The energy immediately elevates your soul, and that's before you've had your first sip! Jeff, Jana, Kenny, and Karen created a safe, warm, and welcoming space. Where one can connect with friends and family while enjoying wonderfully brewed teas from across the world.
My first experience there was transcendental. While I enjoyed a specialty flight of teas and was catching-up with an acquaintance, I knew instantly I had found my second home. Since then, I have returned on numerous occasions to purchase many splendid teas, share experiences with gracious hosts, and satisfy the body's need for healthy nourishment.
I highly, highly recommended you partake in their incredible journey and introduce these nurturing teas into your daily routine. Join in and treat your self to a pot (or two!) if you have the time to spare. Thanks for reading my review, and have a blessed day!
PS - the Snow Chrysanthemum is incredibly mellow and soothing, like sipping on a cloud of happiness. : )

Their tea selection is quite robust. The staff are not only knowledgeable but clearly passionate about your entire tea experience. I had inquired on a unique tea from a different state, and they recommended an alternative tea while also explaining the regional comparison between the two teas as to why I should try it. I took a sample size home. They absolutely nailed it.
The shop is worth visiting and the ambiance is worth taking your time. It is a tranquil place, and I am excited to go back again.
(Five stars for food, but I am referring to the tea…because it is a tea shop).

Great tea variety. Tea quality is top notch. Zen music and space. I ordered the flight which had 4 tea options. I wanted to try a variety and they were all so good! They also have single serve or multi person tea pots and wifi is available.

Come get your tea flights here. So delicious we left with a teapot and two different flavored teas. Nice and sweet owners! We chose the Batman and a green tea, but didn’t know what else to choose so she helped us out with the other two flavors. The Saigon rose ooh man reminded me of home. So good. We will be back! We always stopped by on a Sunday and they weren’t open then. We stopped by one Saturday and luckily got the opportunity to enjoy some peaceful and delicious tea. Thank you!
