It’s not the best cafe but I keep coming back here time and again. It is spacious, has decently strong coffee, offers a range of food options, and has plenty of parking. However, it often plays loud music, has only a few tables with outlets, and is quite dim. Still one of my go-to cafes!

UPDATE 2: We stopped by today (Sept 3) for brunch and coffee. I am very impressed! This place completely turned it around from our last experience back in June. I ordered the carnitas hash and it was delicious. The housemade green salsa was also a great touch. Avocado toast was solid. Cold brew was some of the best I've had in awhile. Live music was high quality. We will be back again often! ________________________________ UPDATE: Based on mamagements' response, it is clear to me they care about their customer feedback and I will update post again the next time I visit. I have confidence they will make it through the growing pains of new management! My husband and I used to love going to Cenote for dinner. We live nearby and the food WAS fresh and unique. Our faves were the beet fries, beef taco plate, and veggie sandwich. Unfortunately, things have taken a turn for the worse. None of those items are on the menu anymore, and what is on tha menu is completely generic and uninspired. The quality of the food was sooooo disappointing... Fried Pickles - Strange batter and WAY too salty. Fried Chicken Sandwhich - Decent chicken but again, bizarre batter. Quesadilla - Worst offender. Bland and the cheese wasn't even melted Music and ambiance were still great! I truly hope this place turns its food and menu situation around. I'll give it another shot in the near future.

I really love it when I get to give a glowing review like this. From the first step through the door, the staff was wonderfully friendly, helpful, and accommodating. It was my first trip there so I wasn't familiar with the menu offerings. Everyone was exceptionally sweet and pleasant. My latte was prepared to absolute perfection and much more quickly than I would have expected. Likewise with the chilaquiles I ordered. They were brought out to me long before I would have expected them and were absolutely prepared to perfection. I split off some of the Chile basted chips, because it was just a trifle overbearing for my taste. But barely even worth mentioning and easy to push off to the side. Other than that, I literally texted like five people to rave about the place while I was sitting there eating. I will definitely be coming back.

Stopped here on our way to San Antonio. Great sandwiches and friendly staff. We ate outside in their nicely shaded patio. Definitely saved it as a place to come back to when I am in the area.

I really wanted to like this place more. As a first time customer the girl where you order was pretty condescending. The rest of the staff was great. Maybe put her in the back. I got a regular coffee and it was so tepid the sugar wouldn't melt and it tasted bad. But one of my companions had an iced caramel latte and it was delicious. The food was good, but 2 of us were finished eating before the other 2 even got their food. We got there before it got busy, so not sure, with so much kitchen staff, what the problem was. Overall, it will probably be a while before we go back. Almost $80 for breakfast for 4, not worth it at all.

Truly recommend this place, friendly staff, tasty food and amazing atmosphere. Perfect for brunch, dinner or just take out after a rough day at work. The food was ready within 5-10 minutes which is awesome if you need a quick refuel before your next thing of the day!

Super cute and cozy. They play really good music and the staff is very friendly. I brought a little kiddo here and she loved it. I got the kids grilled cheese for her which was HUGE and delicious, and I got the chorizo breakfast taco, which was very filling and yummy. If you're worried this place isn't hipster enough, I didn't know any of the music they played and I saw a guy with an actual handlebar mustache. 10/10

Great spot! Wasn't crowded, music wasn't too loud, food is delish and not over priced, what's not to love. Apps: Brussels - could have done without. They weren't bad, just wouldn't get again, a little too crispy. Root vegetables app - really good! Beet fries- yummm!! Entrees: Salmon salad, YUM!! Salmon cooked to perfection. Best thing on the menu. Beet, bean veggie sandwich - it was alright. The side salad was tasty. Cobb salad, subbed chicken for the turkey, was delicious. Hearty and filling.

The atmosphere was laid back and the vibe was relaxed and comfortable. The burger of the day and fries were wonderful and I dug in so fast, I didn't get a pic! Here is the OMG breakfast which was also a great choice!

A cozy coffee shop with a selection of eats from breakfast to burgers, Cenote hits the spot. I ordered the migas with 50/50 tortillas, my friend had the veggie burger with an americano. Both of which were delicious and did not fall short of my expectations. Prices are average. Though I didn’t order a soft drink, I was pleased to see they serve Maine Root sodas. There is an outdoor patio that’s dog friendly. Definitely a good breakfast spot to hit up!
