Conans Pizza

We’ve been eating pizza at Conan’s for over 20 years. We love the sauce and the dough of the pizza, it has almost a sweetness to it. We get the deep dish pepperoni and hamburger every time. It’s always consistent on taste! We usually pair it with a glass or two of wine, they have a newer wine supplier and it’s so smooth and easy to drink for wine by the glass.

From the moment I walked in I knew I made the right choice. From the Conan the Barbarian murals on the mirrors to the First bite of deep dish 😋 that had a delightfully crispy undercarriage. No flop! Sauce is delightful, cheese and fresh ingredients were on point as well! I'll be trying the thin crust and calzones next...P.S. Salad selection and ingredients were great and I tried the honey vinaigrette dressing 🤤 delicious 😋

I came here for dinner for my last day visiting Austin. I got the basil pesto pizza with fajita chicken and oregan-dough, and it was delicious! My family shared the garlic bread, which was pretty good. They also got a salad, a pepperoni pizza, a spicy Hawaiian calzone, and a savage deep dish. Everyone was happy with their food. I adored the decor from the plants to the fairy lights to the custom tables. The staff was super chill and welcoming. I will definitely be visiting again next time I'm in the area.

Best deep dish pizza I know of. Also their this is good too if you are not up for eating a bunch of crust. The atmosphere of Conan's is super Sci FI, fantasy. With covers from all kinds of old mags. It is fun just to go through it all. They also have their own unique Austin dash of spice. A bit disappointing this last time, was there for just a slice and a salad. The slice I got should not have been handed out. It had been on the counter too long (for me) and the flavor changes when the pizza cools off.

I ordered the small deep dish pizza and really enjoyed it. The ambience is interesting and reminds of an old pizza place in Chicago. Once you order at the counter, there is no way for the server to know where you are seated, so he or she, has to roam through the restaurant to find the customer. Seems very inefficient... 2 small pizzas, side salad and a beer were $50. I thought that was rather expensive.

The staff is very friendly. The day I came in they had samples of wine by a local company owned by women. @drinkboxt it was very good. The alcohol selection is decent. They have several things on tap. I ordered the cheese bread. It’s a small baguette covered with cheese. The bread is slightly sweet and very soft. If you dip it with the marinara it becomes a bit tangy and is great either way. I highly recommend this over the cheese sticks. I also ordered a Cesar salad. I liked the salad but they put too much dressing and I had to mix it myself which is fine. The size is good the flavor is good. I ordered a large cheese thin crust pizza 🍕 I quite enjoyed it. The cheese combo is great. The sauce on the pizza is light which I like. It’s also VERY flavorful. I was very surprised at how much flavor the sauce had. I recommend the thing crust pizza. Overall I will come back the vibes are chill and the atmosphere is great.
