I'm from Québec and this is my favority coffee shop in the Citadel! ;)
The best lattes and chill atmosphere! Yesterday was my first time here n definitely going back!
Lola has the distinction of being attached to the Grove. Which frankly is a good thing. Especially after enjoying some vino at the Grove. What's curious is they actually have really good coffee if you just happen to drop in to grab a cup of JO. However, I haven't done that yet, so I cannot comment how that feels. What I do know is we tend to pop in once we have finished noshing and drinking wine and always enjoy the atmosphere and a little sweet bite. They tend to have many different options to bite on. One nice difference is that I have never seen so many different selections of coffee offered in a shop before. They organize them by blend, flavor, organic and origin. Not only do they offer coffee, but have a nice selection of teas available and a high end smoothie. Their prices may be a little steep in some areas, but the quality is there. For me, I am not a coffee connoisseur per se, so I won't find myself hanging out here, but I am probably going to find myself dropping by in the near future.
Yummy, Great vibe too. Great for a coffee break or for a quieter dinner from The Grove's kitchen than in the main dining room.
Great coffee at reasonable prices for the area. The woman who helped me today was very friendly and answered all my questions on their selection. Great views of Lakeways hills facing east!
Very friendly staff and great drinks. Even just coming in every once in a while they remember my order. They have a good selection of drinks and well as pastries and breakfast tacos for a bite to eat. Nice space to get some work done or get ready for your day. Located right next to the Grove Wine Bar.
Mexican mocha for the WIN! Service was just great and super friendly and the place is a total vibe. Great atmosphere to get some work done or to just bring a friend and chat. I would say it’s very kid friendly but does not take away the adults coffee shop. Check it out for sure 👍🏾
As an out of state consumer, I embrace great customer service. Recommendations were excellent and the product was very tasteful. My dine in experience, was relaxing and inviting.
It is a great location to enjoy coffee, meet with your friends, or just read a book. It is usually fairly quiet. The seating area has tables, couches, and bar. I have tried latte and pastries, and they were all good. One complaint is the parking. The lots are so small and often full. Other than that, it is a great coffee place!
This is a locals’ only coffee bar with an adjourning restaurant called The Grove next door. The coffee is delicious and the staff are well-versed in coffee, Kombuca and other fun tidbits. The b’fast tacos are excellent but arrive early as they are often sold out of flour tortillas.
I came here to get some work done and was very happy! The atmosphere is classy but relaxed, and the tea was delicious. There are some plugs throughout, and lots of seating.
Great coffee. Bakery items available. Tacos made off site available until they run out. Mostly indoor seating, but a handful of outside tables.
Nice place to meet up with friends for a coffee. Yet the recent post-covid remodel broke an important feature of the place. It's no longer relatively quiet even when crowded. The sound treatments on the ceiling and walls previously were removed. In so doing, it has substantially elevated the sound levels, which is unfortunate.
I spent $6 on a medium chai + oat milk + a shot of espresso and it was very good— and I was surprised it wasn’t more expensive. I like that it’s open “until 10 ish” because it has a casual but relaxed vibe. Also, the barista brought our drinks to us! That was unexpected but very nice.
