I have no pics cause I was too busy eating, but everyone needs to go to No Va on Rainey Street. It's the best meal I've had in a long time! I have no complaints or improvements to the following list of awesomeness: kale salad braised Brussels Mac & cheese bacon & egg pasta taco gnocchi short rib coffee ice cream blueberry donut holes The service was really great. The manager (who can't be more than 25) came around and checked on us. Good job, Manager. I really liked the chairs. In short, it was a dream.

No Va is a hidden gem amongst the bars on Rainey Street. I dined here for New Years Eve and the service was great, the staff very friendly and a very romantic ambiance. We enjoyed the scallops (which were great), the pork chop and the donut holes. All very good. I'd recommend No Va for your next date night. They had a small bar area on the main level if you're looking to grab a drink. Parking can be a struggle on Rainey Street, but if you're willing to pay for a lot there is one only a couple blocks North.

I had a great experience here at NO VA. We were looking for a place for a good vote to eat and this restaurant definitely didn't disappoint. We sat in a nice quaint setting with the townfolk mingling around us on the street.it was a great atmosphere and a great simple menu. And the good was delicious. From the brussel sprouts and cauliflower to the burger and meatballs. We really enjoyed it and will be back again!

Every visit here is nothing short of remarkable. The veal meatballs with added pork belly is the preferred way to begin your gustatory experience. Their Mac and cheese selections are top notch. They are happy to customize for you too which is an added bonus. Be careful not to order the FULL, just stick to HALF portions to avoid shame and regret. Again if you enjoy chucks of pork belly in your food, NO Va will appease you.

NO VA, the quietly not so hidden gem on Rainey Street. I mean it's right there smack dab on Rainey but do I see crowds looming around the building...no (which is a good thing). Take advantage of their Sunday Supper special ($30/person). All their dishes are rich which will guarantee that you walk out full. I would say my favorite dish was the whipped potatoes, rich and creamy (that's all you need in life). Interior decor is spot on. Great for dates and small groups.

Everything we had was amazing. I was skeptical of the grilled watermelon salad at first but realized it was a must order after trying it. You have to get family style and try a little of everything. $2 taco Tuesday is worth the visit alone. Everything is a healthy and alternative take on comfort and Mexican style food. Save room for desert! The blue berry doughnuts with lavender sauce are heavenly.

This place is absolutely amazing, an excellent collection of southern and Midwestern classics with their own twist. You have to try the mac n cheese, add the pork belly or you are an absolute fool. These guys are doing something special, with the menu constantly changing, ask your bartender or server for their recommendations

I visited during a Friday night and I was impressed by the service and food. There is some nice outdoor seating overlooking Rainey street but there is also a few tables inside as well as a private dining area--enough to fit 10 or so people. The hostess was quick in getting us a table on a busy night. I personally enjoyed the drink I ordered--get the Paloma if you like grapefruit juice. Appetizers were delicious as well--personal recommendations include the fried cauliflower and the hand-cut fries. I would avoid the beignets. Coming from Baton Rouge, their beignets aren't the traditional kind that are large, fluffy and square with ample coating of sugar. Instead, they are bite-sized with a somewhat gooey center and chocolate dipping sauce on the side. Not sure why the owners named it "no va" as I believe it means "don't go". On the contrary, it's a place I'd likely return to try something new from their cocktail menu.

Easily one of the best restaurants in Austin, with a great location. The Atlantic Salmon entree may be one of the best salmon dishes I've ever had. The butternut squash risotto is mind blowing - make sure to try it!
