I don’t understand the bad reviews at all. I come here all the time and the service/employees are always nice and if they’re out of something, they always offer other options quickly. I personally think if you mobile order and find a drink you like, the consistency is there. Their powdered donuts here are amazing and their iced coffees. My boyfriend gets Mocha and I get Caramel and it tastes ok to amazing. Don’t come here in a rush and blame them, have better time management as a customer..coffee places get busy all the time (shocking..not) and if you order a drink and customize it weirdly/oddly, of course it’s gonna taste off. Love the people here and will gladly order here continuously :)

I'm from Massachusetts and moved here in 2009. Us Massholes are OBSESSED with DD and when I fist moved here I didn't have one near me. Now I love 5 mins from one and go all the time! Consistent delicious coffee. Super friendly service almost every time I go. AND they made my all time favorite flavor, butter pecan, a permanent flavor not just seasonal. Amazing!
So I thought I was just imagining it, but other reviews confirmed it. If you get expresso drink it's like a strong expresso taste with a splash of alternative milk/milk etc. It's so gross. I might have to add my own milk to lighten it. Maybe you have to specify 'big splash" of milk? Lol. The people that work there were nice tho.
Just went here. Clean, goodplace to stay for snacks or what... Always loved their doughnuts and coffee. Wide choice of food and coffee. Plus near my place. Doughnuts are not that sweet. Just right for me.
Always a classic....everyone knows the coffee is great but have you tried the blue berry doughnut or the chocolate or my personal fave apple fritter. Wheelchair accessible, clean and they have a drive though. I do miss the fact they are no longer 24hrs...
Great location and service however the building is very very hot. As if the HVAC is not working anymore. Love the tap feature and the cold brew!
But definitely fix the AC asap!

Live 20 miles away but still seem to come back here regularly just for the service and quality of the food and drinks. Super friendly and never had a mistake yet. Always friendly and I usually just pop in for take out and they still remembered me. Especially Sam! Definitely the best coffee shop in austin I have found.
If you need to lounge for a bit, the inside is bright comfortable. Sometimes what I want isn't available, but the staff is always nice.
The Munchkins were amazing. The staff was super friendly and the coffee was yummy!!
I'm from the NE and I swear there is a DD on every street corner. In Austin it's hard to find a DD. So, when I am in the NE Austin area I stop in and get a large regular coffee.
