Unique food that teases the taste buds- Fried mushrooms: could eat everyday....& maybe the chocolate croissant. The atmosphere & creative design is very relaxing.

Sour Duck Market is a fantastic place for a delicious coffee and breakfast, or for a pleasant evening with some great cocktails. I enjoyed their coffee and the variety of pastries they offer. Moreover, we sampled their burgers, and both of them were delicious. This restaurant excels at blending intriguing ingredients in their dishes, so prepare for unique and novel flavors. And don't forget to save room for their honey cake – it's my favorite cake, and I highly recommend ordering it if you have a sweet tooth.

We went there for a Sunday brunch and it was so good! We ordered: 1. Smoked mushroom danish: it was so good 2. Breakfast taco: delicious!! It is also larger than I expected 3. Sunny duck egg: it was so good but it could’ve used another egg, greens & veggies ratio to eggs was a bit too much 4. Smoked red Chile goat memela: really good but it also could’ve used an extra egg We had some pastries to go: jam filled kouign amann, almond croissant, sausage kolaches (not sure of the exact name) but man it was so good and I ate it the next day since I was so full 🤤

This is a great place for brunch, coffee and pastries. Food was amazing, service was fast and they are dog friendly. I had the fried chicken covered in chicken sausage gravy topped with corn and fried egg. It was very fantastic. I also recommend their coffee and pastries. The lemon pound cake was super delicious.

🦆Sour Duck Market🦆 Being in the odd duck family has a lot of prestige around it and Sour Duck hits this high mark! Went for a summer brunch and the food was just impeccable. The watermelon salad was so refreshing but also unique in flavor, loved this. The goat tostada with egg was so rich in flavor and made me so happy. Loved this as it was very breakfast and unique in a Texas way. The Texas hash had the most amazing sauce on it that made my mouth water - so filling yet not greasy and just was the best with all the veggies. We topped things off with this dulce deal leche cake which was not too sweet but massive in graham flavor and this made me so so happy. The food is VERY well priced for the quantities and quality . Will be back many more times!!

Very cool place that really captures the Austin brunch scene. Love that you can bring your dog. Being able to walk in, find a table and order food through the app was such a convenience. Didn’t like the breakfast taco or the chicken/eggs dish. The jalapeños on that entree? Nearly ended me. And I eat jalapeños for fun but those ones had me going deaf for a bit they were so hot. Maybe a little regulation there. Also would be cool to have an option in the app to call the server if you actually do need them for small things like more ketchup or salsa. I would recommend ordering the burger, it was charred in all the right places and scrumptious. For dessert, the almond croissant.

This place is super cute. It has plenty of shaded outdoor seating. I had a peach tea with a seeded pretzel, breakfast taco, and a chocolate chip cookie. The seeded pretzel came out fresh and hot. The breakfast taco was a lot bigger than I expected. It was a French fry, egg taco topped with pico and hot sauce. The cookie is massive. I definitely want to go back and try their savory pastries.

Really great food and coffee spot on central Austin. Inside and outside areas. The happy hour is great! Burger was delicious. Drinks were strong and beer was cold. Love and can't wait to go back

Loved Sour Duck Market! We went there for lunch today. They have a huge patio with lots of picnic tables + misters. The patio is dog-friendly and there's an area for live music. We sat in the bar area, which was comfortable. The manager is funny, friendly. We each enjoyed the Fried Chicken sandwich, which had a perfect buttermilk batter with tender, juicy chicken inside with green tomatoes, cucumber raita and curry spices. The fries were perfectly golden + crispy and seasoned to perfection. Even their ketchup is unique and interesting, so much better than your ordinary variety. The melon salad was probably my fave though. Ripe watermelon + cantelope with chili crispies and avocado cream. It was perfectly refreshing on such a hot day. Last but not least, the house Paloma was fantastic. It was a Paloma with a twist . . . definitely had some ginger and maybe a little salty foam at the top. I already can't wait to go back!

I only visited the bakery portion and unfortunately kouign amann was sold out. I got the chocolate croissant, peach Danish, and the honey cake. The chocolate croissant is good, just what you'd expect from a good croissant. I like that they used dark chocolate. The peach Danish is marvelous. Definitely the best. (I would wish there was more of the custard filling tho...but I'm a sucker for custard cream so it could just be a me thing) the honey cake is also decent. The flavors are fantastic, but it was way too sweet for me. I had to send it down with glasses of milk. But the overall taste is awesome. It would be perfect if the sugar level can be adjusted a tad bit.
