Luby's

I ordered Luby's for our resident Christmas party and omg everything was perfect from the time I ordered it. Carlos the manager called to confirm exactly how I wanted my order cold or hot. Then when I picked up the order the entire staff was so sweet from the minute I walked in. They helped me load in into my van. They forgot my tea but the manager Carlos was the best and had his staff deliver. Rebecca is so sweet. She has the BEST customer service! THANK YOU LUBY's STAFF YOU ALL ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's be real for all you luby's lovers from the 80s of which I am one. The food and recipes are still the same and the food is still very good. Just be prepared for the meals being pricier than you remember with smaller side portions. Its not really senior citizen fixed income friendly. However, the fried fish and macaroni and cheese is best so its worth the price to me.

November 2023: Back at Luby’s to enjoy another the LuAnn Platter Turkey and Stuffing with Mashed Potatoes and Mac & Cheese. They were already preparing for the massive turkey meal orders for Thanksgiving with looks of stacked and wall of boxes. The turkey tasted good and where even though a little dry the gravy sauce complimented it very well. The staff is very nice and friendly making us feel welcomed. The place was also very clean too. Overall enjoyed my early thanksgiving meal and like always a great place to bring your parents to. February 2023: I am just so glad Luby’s Cafeteria is still open where still remember eating at a Luby’s since I was a child. I enjoyed my favorite item the LuAnn Luby’s Fried Fish and got Mexican Rice and Macaroni & Cheese as sides. The LuAnn version is half a fish but still get the full sized side amounts. The breading fish is very tasty and has great flavor with the soft fish inside. The service and atmosphere is excellent, and the cafeteria is always perfectly clean.
