My husband & our friend got the regular Gloria Gaynor, and I got the Gloria Gaynor, veganized. It was seriously delicious food, and I honestly felt like that for the first time since becoming vegan, I got a completely satisfying breakfast. I absolutely recommend this place, to omnis, vegetarians, and vegans. ❤❤ Thank you for the amazing food, guys!
Hands down best fucking breakfast I ever had. Small wait but was so worth it.
A real hidden gem! Had no idea this place was here but it was SO good. Reasonably priced, staff was really friendly and your meal is made to order! Also do yourself a favor and drink the orange juice, it hits the spot.
We enjoyed this place and it wasn’t too busy on a Sunday morning. The ordering process is simple and food came out quickly. The biscuits were soft and good. I felt like the gravy was missing some seasoning but still good. The fresh orange juice was really good too.
Wonderful place to visit for your fix of biscuits and gravy! The gravy is delicious and has just the right amount of pepper. There’s plenty of bite-sized sausages sprinkled on top. The biscuits are fluffy and soft. The combination is perfect! My only qualm is the parking. There’s no lot to park in so you have to find street parking which is fine, but proved a bit difficult on a late Sunday morning. Other than that, I’d say it’s worth a visit. They also have another location further south that I’ve also been to and parking is a bit easier there.
Tried B&G for the first time years ago at the Barton trailer. Moved up North so we go by the Duval location and it is always exceptional. I personally get the Gloria and it's been perfect every time. Picnic table seating in the great North Loop area so you can walk a bit down to some cool shops or browse the beautiful neighborhood. Typically ends up being 2 meals for myself, you definitely get your monies worth.
This place is delicious! Soft, fluffy biscuits, good gravy, perfectly cooked scrambled eggs...and vegan options! The fresh squeezed OJ is always a great option. Just be prepared to wait as it's always pretty busy.
Quick service, delicious food. Highly recommend trying the jam of the day, it was banana foster and was so good. Solid quick comfort food. The parking situation is a little tricky. Glad we were able to stop by while we were in Austin!
Awesome spot with great food and plenty of options for a tasty biscuit meal! Be ready to find parking down the street somewhere, because you can't park on site. But a quick 2 min walk from your parking spot will get you to some of the best biscuits you can find in Austin. We will definitely be back!
I love love love Biscuits and gravy! It has been too long since I've been able to relive my childhood love since I've been Vegan. Well let me tell you, Biscuits and Groovy satisfied exactly that. We had The Gloria and they even veganized it.... It was delicious! 🤤
Finally had the chance to stop by and I was not disappointed me and my friend asked for suggestions on their most popular items and the guy taking our order told us that the Gloria with potatoes was great so my friend got that and I chose the M.C hammer with jalapenos and a side of jam. while we waited we walked around the corner for coffee which I will do a separate review for. Overall everything was great it did lack a little flavor as mentioned in other reviews but still In the end left me very full and satisfied. I can't wait to go back to try some of their other options. Only thing that sucked about this particular location is that there is no parking so I had to parked across the street at a convenience store which I don't suggest doing if your going to stay and eat your food there because they will tow you.
Perfection. Biscuits and gravy will never be the same again. The Gloria Gaynor is a killer dish that satisfies all flavors that one might want when eating biscuits and gravy. The best aspect of this establishment is the fact that all dishes can be made for vegans or vegetarians.
The service is fast, and the location is easily accessible. The lines can be long on the weekends, but the wait is more than worth it.
This is a must visit Austin eatery.
