Mi Trailita Y Mas is the bomb! Fantastic, authentic food, it is a true local Austin gem. This place started as a food truck serving the masses, everyone from the Spanish speaking only migrants who build Austin to the dot com money man, to my kid's elementary school teachers. Great food at a good price. I only took one star off of the atmosphere because unfortunately the parking lot is a dump. But that is not their fault, you have to start your first brick and mortar somewhere.

My favorite place to get chorizo street tacos. Their tortilla are handmade and soft. You can tell the difference from other taco places. I get their 5 mini tacos for $10. I usually get them to go, but I dined in one time. The service was great. The gentlemen even offered me a sample of their campechano, which was steak mixed with chorizo. My friend loved that one. I also like their queso, but it does cool quickly though. I don’t recommend their horchata. It’s not the best.

What a great find!!! I’ve pretty much ordered the entire menu. Lol. The food is delicious and affordable. Authentic Mexican seasoning. I recommend the breakfast tacos to beat that morning hunger & gorditas, tostadas or regular tacos for lunch or dinner. You really can’t go wrong with anything you order. The to-go orders come out pretty quick. Give this place a try!

I was craving a Breakfast Burrito and decided to try Mi Trailita Y Mas, the new restaurant from the same family that run the very popular Mi Trailita taco trailer down the road. Mi Trailita Y Mas is near my house so I can conveniently pickup while still wearing my pajamas. I ordered online via their website, you can also call them to order and of course walk in and eat in their spacious dining room. Ordering online was quick and easy and I received a text when it was ready (in less than 10 minutes!). Got home, unwrapped the bag the first thing that hit me was that smell of FRESH home-made warm tortilla. For the burritos you choose your own fillings and I got eggs, potato, cheese and avocado. Saying it was delicious is an understatement, everything tasted amazing….perfectly cooked eggs, tender potatoes, gooey melted cheese, and fresh sliced avocado. Mi Trailita Y Mas is on Manor Rd at Rogge with plenty of parking, a rarity these days in Austin. Support local!
