Cool place! Great Location! Unforgettable drinks and pizza!
It's been two long days since I have eaten their Deep Dish Pizza, and I'm still thinking about it.
Chicago Style pizza, perfect amount of crust to not have to wait an hour for it, too. Sauce on the top, perfect amount of cheese for gooey-ness. I should have gotten an extra for later.
The drinks also stand out. Rainey Street bars are known for making their drinks special, but the one they made me was literally FIRE. (They lit it on fire) I ordered the Mai Tai, and it was delicious. I would suggest requesting it without the coconut flakes, though.
The music was good. There was a Caribbean vibe mixed with hip-hop and current music on the night we were there.
It is a small place at the Fairmont end of Rainey Street, so if you are making your way down, start here or end here. The pizza will be a great way to start or end your night.

Amazing Detroit style pizza! It’s absolutely worth the wait. Also, don’t worry about the size - that little pie is more than enough. It’ll fills you up.
Also, the guy serving us was super nice and friendly. Very upfront and honest. He suggested me not to but the drink because it is overpriced and could get the same from the groceries store close by.
Last thing: it’s very hard to find parking around Rainey street, and the one on the end is very expensive - rates start from $18.00 for the first hour. So I’d suggest order it online and have a person pick it up while someone else drives around. Otherwise, just pick it up from other locations available in town. Definitely order ahead to skip the 15 plus minutes of wait.
Super recommended!

Being from NYC, I was pleasantly surprised to find this spot in Austin. It’s a mix between Detroit style and a few other options but the pizza was delicious. They pretty much have an option for the any type of pizza you’d want. Would definitely recommend - one pizza can fill two people to a good level, give you’re not super hungry.

The pizza is excellent - fresh tasting sauce, incredible cheese, with a great crunch to the crust. I did think the crust had a bit of a spice to it, so just be wary if you're sensitive.
Also, it's super easy to walk right by if you don't know what you're looking for - but there's almost always a group of people nearby or in front so watch for that.

I have visited this truck twice and on both occasions the pizza was awesome! It truly is a deep dish pizza with a well cooked base and a crispy edge. The sauce is flavoursome and the cheese is delicious. Both pizza's were the Herbivore - olive + jalapeños and clearly their food is consistent.
The staff are friendly and the prices are just right.
Thank you

Good food truck location tucked away inside a bar so make sure you don’t miss it, and are prepared for the potential of loud music and drunken dining companions. We didn’t expect the loud music but the DJ was really good so we weren’t upset. Also got a drink at the bar while we waited and it was well prepared by a friendly and professional bartender. Detroit style pizza and some good specials. We got the dill pie and the original pepperoni. The dill was exceptional and the pepperoni was good but not amazing.

I know you don’t think of Detroit style of pizza when you’re in Texas but you would be missing out if you don’t eat here. Takes a little time after you order but that’s because it’s fresh and made to order. Some of my favorite pizza anywhere in the world!

Amazing deep dish pizza. We were visiting from detroit and wanted to check it out. Did not disappoint at all. Can’t wait to get it again when we come back next time! 😊

Delicious pizza! Super crunchy crust but also fluffy. One pizza is a very filling meal for one person. Easy to order online and pick up at the window when ready.

This is a food truck at Placeholder bar; but GREAT pizza (and I'm from upstate New York, so my pIzza standards are pretty high!)... Also, FYI, for those in the area, there was a "50-55 minute" wait for an order online, but I ordered in-person and the wait was only 15 minutes - just enough time to run into Placeholder for a drink 🍻

Amazing pizza!! Lot of flavor and toasty crust. Some of the pizza were a little colder but we didn’t care as they were really good. The wait time for the order to be ready can be over 40 minutes depending on the day and time but so worth it.

I ordered the Detroiter. This was my first time eating a Detroit inspired pizza, and will not be my last. Flavors were solid and pepperoni was ample. Overall service was good. Order ahead online or grab a beer and hang out for 30-45 mins. Plenty of seating as is the case around the area.

The best pizza in Austin as of March 2017. They have multiple locations, but the one behind Craft Pride on Rainey Street is the one to go to.
My go-to is the Hawaiian pizza. I will typically order 2 of them. One to eat while I'm there and one to take home. Yes, they are that good. The cheese which crisps up on the edges of the pizza is sublime. But any pizza you order is going to be excellent. You really can't go wrong here.
The atmosphere is great too. Outdoor seating, nice patio and very Austiny. This place is one of my personal favorites and always at the top of my list for recommendations when in Austin.

Really good pizza! We’re gluten and dairy free. The gf crust was delicious. We ordered without cheese but they do have dairy free cheese
Our friends had the gf pepperoni. Also delicious

Delicious pizza! Pictured is the 4 cheese pizza. Expect to wait about 20-30 minutes for a pizza. It is such a great atmosphere, too!

Sad that craft pride died. Happy I can still get 313. God bless
