Excellent place for tasty tacos. They have a good selection of tacos and salsas to add spice to your desires. Place was clean, well lit, and had a nice decor. This was my first time here and enjoyed my visit for sure!
I walked in for breakfast on a Friday morning. The place is obviously decorated to please the college crowd. I looked over the menu and ordered 1 Miga and 1 Wranler taco. The price on the menu is for one taco. I thought the price was a little high for a single taco. I knew I made the right choice with my first bite. The brisket in the Wrangler taco was phenomenal, and the vegetarian Miga taco was just as delicious! I may be back for supper today. 🤔
Above average Tex mex craft tacos at best. Solid chain and maintains certain level of quality across the board. However, nothing crazy about this spot. Staff was great and I would recommend going for a quick bite.
The bar is pretty big and great for large groups as well.
My first visit to a Torchy's despite there being several near my home this one was 250 miles away. I heard this was the "original." Amazingly we were able to park at 11:30am and it wasn't crowded at all (don't tell anyone, lol). I didn't know what to get, so I just ordered 2 chicken tacos and they were excellent, especially with the green sauce that comes on the side. Maybe they could put some hot sauce on the tables which could make it interesting. 2 were perfect and kept me going til dinner. Keep up the good work!

I found this place extremely reliable when it comes to getting fantastic tacos!
What can I say, Torchy's tacos are always on point. After years of consuming their delectable taco creations, I had to post today. Today I ordered my go-to, a migas on flour with brisket added...and it was the hugest taco I've ever gotten from Torchy's! Freshly cooked, lots of tasty brisket, piping hot, so delish! I wish I had a banana for scale, this thing was awesome. I also have to give a shout out to their queso and chips, and of course I have them throw in some brisket there too. This location can be a bit slow at times, so be prepared to wait a bit for your order if they seem busy-but it's worth the wait, you'll get tasty tacos, no doubt. 🌮
We heard a few recommendations to visit Torchy's Tacos, and I'm glad we made the trip here! Their brisket tacos were very flavorful and tasty. Their prices were also very reasonable which made the experience that much better. I didn't have their spiciest taco, but it had a good kick to it. Also their hot sauces were delicious.
The restaurant is located down town. I loved the outside of the building first. Started taking pictures immediately! I had been putting off going because people were saying they were good but a little pricey BUT now I know it was well worth the trip! Ordered 4 tacos, 2 drinks, chips and guacamole - $27.00. I even went back and bought a T-shirt. So soft and cute! The food was fresh and visually appealing along with being delicious! I had a Mexican diet coke with stevia and I liked it. The restaurant inside was clean and visually appealing...started taking pictures immediately...again. Overall a good experience and I would go back!

Came in with my partner for a quick bite before catching a show, and decided to take a seat at the bar. We were promptly greeted by Seth, who was very nice and helpful. We ordered a burrito with chicken and pork, a democrat taco, a ranch hand taco, and a few drinks. All food came out looking and tasting wonderful.
Throughout the visit, Seth remained attentive and quick.
Not from Austin, but I would definitely come back to this location again if I'm in Austin again in the future
Location was a real nice and chilled spot not far from the UT area. Queso and guacamole were fresh and very tasty. If you like thin, just right salted chips you will love these chips. I also had a swirl margarita that was just enough to satisfy your cocktail craving.
