We stumbled upon Pieous on our way from Austin to San Antonio and WOW!!! We loved everything about the place from the decor and atmosphere to the pizzas. I had the Rocket, tasted exactly like the same thing I had in Rome. My husband had the Fat Queen and enjoyed every bite. The handmade goodness of Pieous is fantastic! Wish I lived here to have it again. ❤️🍕
We got margerita and shrooms pizza. The pizzas came out very fast. Both of them tasted great with a flavorful tomato sauce base an. The sauted mushrooms were my favorite.
Only negative was that a part of my crust was burnt to crisp. Definitely the pizzas are a bit on the pricier end for the size but they are delicious
The pizza itself is 5 star in terms of taste - my large and diverse family loved it. One significant knock on pizza is there’s way too much crust - probably more than any other pizza I’ve ever had. That said, I still give pizza a five star review based on taste. Major negative for pieous is the ability to order pickup. No phone number. One would think ordering online would be easy but it’s not - their website is not set up for mobile apps/ordering from a phone. I had to get on my computer after ten minutes of crashing/slow response. And then it still wasn’t seamless. Also, I ordered for a large group and had no idea how big the pie is (medium size). The low rating of service is not tied to the actual staff who were friendly.
Thin crust Neapolitan style pizza.
The margherita and even simple cheese were really good.
Pastrami used to be better, but it is still ok.
Affogato was huge and was too much ice cream to my taste.
It’s been a while and the wedge salad did not disappoint but the cold pizza and chaos did. Last nights meal felt like a dinner on a roller coaster with a disappointing cold pizza to finish things off. Still a good place with very good food but the whole wait in line, don’t wait in line use the QR at your table thing needs attention, please. Too good a place to be this chaotic
Went here for dinner, had a great time and our group of five were able to have conversations.
The menu was extensive and everyone was very happy with their dinner. The staff was also very friendly and attentive. Next time I'm in Dripping Springs I'll be returning.
Love Pieous. After being away from Austin for almost five years, it was one of my first stops. Gotta’ get the caesar!
Anytime we are in Dripping Springs we have to stop for pizza. The pizza is always amazing and the Vietnamese coffee is delicious.
It’s not just the pizzas that are amazing, you HAVE to try their pastrami and sandwiches!!! Bottom line this is the place you want to go back and try everything on their menu👍
The pizzas were delicious and the workers were amazingly nice.
