Hill-bert's Burgers Too

This place makes you feel like you have traveled back in time and actually taste real meat for a burger. You can actually taste the difference between a fast food chain and fresh home style meat. The prices are great too, a double cheese, with fries and a large coke of 12 bucks but with the taste of freshness meat. That sounds a pretty good deal to me. Also, I have a friend who never likes onion rings before, and it is now loving onion rings. But only at Hill-Berts. Says there's something about the rings that taste better than the other restaurants. Also, don't let the picture fool you. It may look plain, but really, it's pretty good burger meal. Yes, I am going back there

This is a lovely yellow restaurant built in a former Wendy's. They have excellent, large-portion burgers, with that small town flavor that only the best burgers have. They also have a "steakburger" which is a chicken-fried steak between two buns. I didn't get to try ot on this trip, but I'll definitely be going to on my next trip. Enjoy!

Oh wow what a great place to get a burger. We ordered a variety of burgers: plain hamburger, cheeseburger and bacon cheeseburger. All were made exactly to our order. The meat was excellent in size and taste. We ordered fries and onion rings. Our son said the bacon was the best he has ever had on a burger. The onion rings were crisp and seasoned well. The fries were crisp on the outside....not soggy. We will definitely come back when we come back to Austin.
