Food was delicious. We had buffalo fries, truffle fries, Llano poblano burgers and double bacon burger. Everything had a great flavor and was well portioned.
Cons were I ordered a margarita and it was alittle to strong to enjoy. My husband ordered an old fashion. After the server dropped off our food she never came back to check on us. If shw had we probably would ha e stayed longer then we did.

I recently visited Hopdoddy on a Tuesday night, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. This restaurants boasts one of the best burgers I’ve ever tasted, featuring top notch meat.
The ambiance is perfect you can dine in indoor or outdoor.

I went from 2014 being probably the last time I stepped foot in this place to now becoming a regular weekly. Oh how the tables have turned....
What's changed you ask?
They now have happy hour SUNDAY -- THURSDAY from 3 to 6pm.
But also aside from the happy hour, I found a new love for their kale salad and truffle french fries. I also love how they offer the option of converting any burger into a salad bowl. Shout out for all y'all healthy folks out there ;).
So put those running shoes on and race on over here after work.

Wanted to try Hopdoddy Burger Bar since moving to Austin, so went to the original South Congress location. Staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful to an obvious first-timer. Ordered the Primetime - 1/2 lb Wagyu patty, Fondue cheese, Caramelized Onions, Arugula, Tomato, Truffle Aioli & steak sauce, grilled to a perfect medium with a side of fries. A delicious full-of-flavor multi napkin experience worth a return visit with the wife.

This is one of the best burgers I've ever had. I just ordered a classic with cheese and bacon, subbed in pickles for the onions. It was juicy and cooked perfectly. I also ordered a small hand cut fries with it and the meal was the perfect amount. I wish they had a hopdoddy's where I live. It will always be on my list for a meal when I visit Austin.

I recently dined at Hop Daddy Burger & Bar in Austin, and I have to say, the burgers are truly top-notch. The flavors were bold, the ingredients fresh, and each bite was a delightful experience. However, I do need to point out that our server left a bit to be desired. While the food was excellent, the service could definitely use some improvement.
If you’re in Austin and craving an outstanding burger, Hop Daddy’s got you covered. Just be prepared for potentially uneven service on busy nights.

Big fan of hopdoddy, always. Their bar happy hour is one of the best.
The service today though, alright. Started off a bit weird, I asked for a soda light ice, and I seriously got a mountain of ice topping off the cup. Was it a joke? I don’t know, but when I asked to get it changed, our bartenders attitude was mehhhh. The rest of our time here was good though. He seemed to relax at the end, so no problem. Always a good time. Good food. Good location near a lot of shops.

It is one of the best burgers I have tasted in my whole life!! 🍔
I've ordered the Thunderbird since I'm such a huge fan of chicken patties. 🐔 The food is rich with flavor and vegetables which I liked. I will definitely come back and try their other burgers. It is a bit expensive for the size, though.
Service is good and the people are nice. The place can be so busy during the weekends, so patience is required.
The place is always crowded, so if you want to talk with someone, this is not the place. But if you'd like to enjoy the food, indulge in!!
