Acapulco's is fair. I've never had anything from there that I wouldn't eat. I like spicy foods. My wife and I went a few days ago and I mentioned to her that I wished the salsa was spicy. The bowl they bring you has no heat at all. So, when the waitress came back around, my wife asked if they had spicy salsa. The waitress gave a funny look and scurried off. Maybe a minute later she comes back with a small bowl of green salsa. Thinking nothing of it, I dipped a great amount on my chip. I just figured it was maybe tomatillo and jalapeno salsa...nothing bad. Oh how wrong I was. As soon as I put it in my mouth, I saw the face of God. A plume of darkness waved over me. I immediately started sweating and nose is running profusely. For about five minutes, I felt as though the icy hand of death laid upon me. Folks, it's hotter than the one chip challenge. You've been warned. The only think that made the experience tough was the group of young ladies at the table beside us. Obviously their parents didn't teach them about inside voices. They were extremely inconsiderate, even to the waitress. The waitress was given subtle hints but, this group of young women was not picking up what the waitress was throwing down. They were using extreme amounts of profanity and singing really foul rap songs. This was not the restaurants fault. These girls just had no home training. It's a good place to go if you like this sort of fare.

Really good food, quick service, solid deals for lunch. They even throw chips and salsa in! However, their mask policy is nearly non-existent. Most servers properly wore masks(over nose and covering mouth), but the host and some back-of-house staff I saw either did not wear them or had them below their chin. There was no effort to request guests to wear masks upon entry. Enter at your own risk.

My friend and I came in on a Friday night looking for a good time and good food—— that is EXACTLY what we got! Quickly upon arrival we were seated. Next, we were kindly and quickly greeted by our sweet waiter who immediately asked us for our drink orders. The COMPLIMENTARY chips and salsa WAS AMAZINGGGGG. It was my first time here and the waiter gladly answered any questions I had about the menu! We ordered our food (i got a burrito and enchilada) and a nice drink and it was ALL just so great. The food was delicious. The drink was tasty and did its job! 😂 The overall atmosphere and just literally everything about my visit was great! I can not find a flaw! I am thinking about returning tomorrow night. That is JUST HOW GREAT MY SERVICE AND FOOD WAS!!! I love it here and have decided to add it to my list of great food spots in the auburn area. 10/10!!!

Was greeted promptly and walked to a table when I came in. My waiter was Marcelo and he created me warmly. The chips and salsa came quickly, followed by an order of cheese dip. The salsa was a disappointment and entirely void of flavor. I ordered the ribeye, with shrimp. The ribeye was cooked just right and tasted great. The shrimp were cooked just right as well and were the large size, which I appreciated from a Mexican place. All too often they are small. Overall, a good dinner!!

Been here multiple times and always have a positive experience. Prices are very reasonable. Staff is very friendly. And I've honestly never waited very long at all. It's a cool atmosphere as well.

Good service. Great selection. Lunch was good but not great. I will definitely visit Acapulco again.

Me and my brother went here after a long hot day of mountain biking and the food was really nice. They were also extremely attentive and politeness is a clear factor in what makes Acapulco's special. The reason I give them 5 stars, however, is because there were some STUNNINGLY attractive girls next to us and the one on the right really just made my day.
