Was trying to go somewhere else but they were closed so we decided to try this place out. 100% was the best sushi I have had in years. Glad the other place was closed.

This is by far the best sushi in Auburn. I have spent my birthday here several times, and they are more than accommodating. The owners are hands-on and super hospitable. Their upstairs loft is great for larger tables. Their fish is always fresh, and their rolls are great value. Try the "oh my God" roll. It'll knock your socks off.

Our first dinner at Hanami and the service was great. The restaurant was quite full so we ate at the bar. We had calamari, 911 roll, Auburn roll, and New Player. All very good and tasty. The electricity went out because of a strong storm and they made our last roll in candlelight! Everyone there was so very nice and patient with the difficulty of no power. We'll definitely be back!

So my first time at Hanami Sushi.
I was very impressed.
I always start by ordering a sashimi,
The cut stakes of assorted fish is always how to tell if your eating at a good restaurant or not.
I could tell by the taste of the Salmon and Tuna that I found a Good place.
$127.00 for seven Rolls and one plate of sashimi and a Poki salad. I was pleased and very happy with all my orders.
On the other hand I would recommend going a little after the lunch rush.

I enjoy two things. Authentic food and knowing that my money went to good caring people. Here you get both. If you speak Japanese or are learning you can come here and practice while enjoying great food. Oishikatta!!

Absolutely one of the most incredible experiences I've ever had eating sushi. Bruce, the man who makes the sushi, recommended the Red Dragon roll and the OMG roll. Both were phenomenal. Bruce was not only an excellent chef, but his manners and witty humor were beyond compare. I live around the Arden-Arcade area of Sacramento and I will definitely be finding the time to return here soon.
