Sizzler

Jay was a great server and was very pleasant when we were there today for Lunch. The Salad bar was well stocked and the chicken nuggets were surprisingly delicious. I grabbed some of the taquitos and the guacamole I used to dip them in was very fresh and flavorful; Certainly not the kind of quality I would expect at a buffet place. I did not get a chance to try their soups, but they certainly did look good.My steak came out appropriately cooked medium rare, as steaks should be, and the fries were nice, crispy and hot. Overall, I haven't been to a Sizzlers since the location on Douglas Blvd. Closed down, but I will certainly be back at this location, especially after a good day of being in the snow or hiking around.

This is a great place! The employees are ALL upbeat, happy, and polite. Prices are reasonable and the food is good. We (2 seniors) had shrimp, a side of broccoli with carrots, and a salad bar...plus dessert! I had cake ala Mode. For the 2 of us it came to $27! Such a good experience I tipped $5 because I was so pleased with everything. Give them a try!!

Relaxing place to have a meal. All the staff was super friendly and helpful. The place was spotless. The salad bar price was very reasonable, including freshly made salads, three different soups, desserts. If you are a senior, the drink is included. Try the three types of lemonades, mango, strawberry and peach. They are even better than Starbucks. There are many other items including the steaks on the menu I haven’t tried. The place is easily accessible from I80. Highly recommended.

So glad open again. Salad bar awesome. Side bar with taquitos and chicken nuggets, enough for dinner with salad bar. Employees fast, very helpful, sorry for them that people don't tip as they should. They do the same work as any restaurant waiter, people just don't tip like they should. Had shrimp special and salad bar, $15.00 dollars, awesome. Shrimp was very tender.

Sizzler is a known quantity for a great value: good food at a good price. The restaurant in Auburn, California is located just off the Interstate, just east of the historic Gold Rush era downtown. My fraternity had one of their annual dinner meetings there, and although menu items improve through time, their standard steak and shrimp dinner with rice pilaf and a cold brew beckoned. Why fix/change something if it isn't broken? Our group makes sure the wait staff are duly rewarded for bringing our meals, providing beverages and add-ons, and bussing the tables. Prompt friendly service with good dining. Give them a visit next time you're near.
