Cool corner Tex-Mex restaurant/bar with indoor/outdoor seating. The bar has outdoor seating which is really cool, especially sitting on the corner of West Peachtree street.
Nice Happy Hour, with daily specials for food and cocktails. Today I tried there “Mojarita”, a mojito/margarita mix... tequila, lime juice, mint and sour mix. Also tried the steak and grilled fish tacos which were very good.

Came here on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Great atmosphere. Staff was amazing. Tacos were delicious. Sweet potatoes fries were great. The guacamole was to die for!! The Mexican corn had a great taste as well. The bottomless mimosas had me lit lol. What a great day!

So good so nice and delicious, the concept the have on plates for sharing and the cóctel option it’s all right.
Some of the tapas and tacos are a little strong flavored but non the less amazing and tasty.
The staff was cool and friendly in any way posible.

Babalu is an upscale Taco chain spreading across the southeast. Tacos are the thing. There are plenty of menu items, but your here for tacos.
The variety of flavors is impressive. Additionally, if you have the interest, having them make guacamole right before your eyes is a tasty and great experience, though it's a tad pricey.
This location is particularly loud. I'd sit outside if you'd like to hear each other. Also, because it's often so crowded the servers can get in the weeds.
Lastly, there are two hours if validated parking here and it's just across from the subway. That makes getting there very easy.
They have Taco Tuesday specials so that's perhaps your best bet.

I highly recommend this place they have 3 tacos for 9.99 daily and weekly specials. Their guacamole is made fresh in front of you. Veggie taco and their lamb sliders are my favorites. Great outdoor seating area and servers are awesome.

Fabulous! Delicious food, unique menu, friendly good service a fun atmosphere and fair prices! You will love it! We each had three tacos-each unique and delicious (redfish, chicken, shrimp, vegetable, carnitas, pork) each was amazing with savory distinctive flavors. Enjoy!

The Babalu tapas restaurant is a nice addition to midtown and has a good happy hour special daily and a nice patio for outdoor seating that includes outside access to the bar as well. The service is great, our waitress was fantastic and they make hand made guacamole tableside. The atmosphere is kind of like an open food hall seating model, but there can be 20-30 minute waits for a table. The prices are not expensive which is great for the area and college crowd. The drinks are just ok, but you will not find a high-end coctail here, and the tapas is geared for a college crowd with mild tastes as well. Even though is is labeled a tapas bar, the portions are huge. Overall it is a casual place to get a bite or enjoy the patio for some drinks.

Nice midtown spot for a casual date or group meetup. Decent tacos, but I've had better. Guac is made at the table and there is lots of it to go around! Drinks were hit or miss. Tortillas are great! The chips are thicker than usual, which is a plus! Overall good choice for the indecisive, but not a place to make an impression.

Very friendly nd professional staff. Clean and hip decor. Food was tasty and fresh. Drink were made with perfect amount of alcohol! Prices are very reasonable for portions. Would have been a 5 star if serve was aware of contains in taco when guest clearly asked before ordering. I also like that general manger was stepping in and bringing food to tables. Good leaders make excellent followers. I enjoyed a few episodes of Lucy too.

Great first impression at this new restaurant! I could tell that it is managed very well, and that the staff were well trained. The food was outstanding, and I will definitely be back soon to try everything else on the menu!
