This place is so delicious. Vegans don't have to go here and still feel hungry or dissatisfied when they leave. Had the vegetarian falafel plate, I feel like I'm going to explode, and still have an entire meals worth left to eat later. No meat, and still SO much flavor. I start to get withdrawals and have to come back within a couple weeks despite how my poor, college student bank account may feel about it. Gorgeous huge paintings on the wall too. Definitely go, but beware you'll be addicted!
The food is remarkably good; each bite bursts with exciting flavor. The staff is helpful to recommend and explain the menu. I've eaten there multiple times and always have been beyond pleased. A must-try! You will be back!
- Lamb shank was well done and well seasoned but it was not freshly cooked.
- kebab was very hard.
- shawarma chicken was tender and tasty.
- shawarma beef and lamb was very hard and tasteless.
- falafel was top, fresh and seasoned well.
- hummus was excellent too.
- fattush salad was very fresh and very tasty.
- Arabic rice was tasty.
- pita bread was fresh, soft and tasty.
- staff were helpfull and nice.
& double menu make it confusing when to order.
Ameer’s is a great spot for Mediterranean food in the North Druid Hills area! We got a sandwich and a combo plate, and they were both delicious! They are generous with the portions, and everything tasted fresh. We asked for recommendations and the staff was friendly and made some great suggestions!

Ameer is a wonderful Mediterranean place in Druid hills. Loved the falafal sandwich. Must visit!

Had the falafel plates and the flavors were bursting good. Plenty of fresh veggie salad options with great recipe. Would highly recommend. I only gave them 4 stars for blatantly missing delivery notes which is highly important if requested because you never know if someone has these things at the delivery check point and not having requested items like utensils and napkins or condiments it could destroy the food experience. But beyond that I’d order again for sure
I visited for the first time this week with two of my children. It was the first time my son had tried Mediterranean food, and it did not disappoint. The service was personal, patient, and helpful, and the portions were enough to feed us for 3 meals each. Delicious fresh hummus and the most delicious fresh vinegar-based salad.
It has been one of my favorite Middle East restaurant for long time, and we just found out that they offer a special dinner for Iftar.
Had to order last minute catering order! Placed order for 5 platters for a work luncheon! They were so nice and worked with me. The food was the most delicious Mediterranean food I’ve ever had and I’m Middle Eastern. The garlic spread the best I ever had! The service was the best, unsurpassed in my book! They delivered it fast too! Everyone at the job site loved it!!! Sooo good! Very pleased!
The meal was delicious. I drove across town to support them since i was told it was Palestinian owned and wanted to support them. Babaganoush was very delicious so was the shawarma platter.
I love this place. The food is delicious! Salads and pita are fresh. Great and fast service for dine in or for pick up.
Definitely one of my favorite Palestinian restaurants. Wonderful bread and their Kofta kabab is very good. The shawermas are also very good - honestly you can't go wrong with whatever you order. Service was also helpful. One of the best Turkish coffees I have had in a while
