Amazing food, all fresh sea food.... Probably the best squid I've had. The grilled branzino was delicious I had it both normal grilled and Egyptian style. All the food priced right as well. AMAZING.....
The food was good the reason for my 4 star was a service fee charged with no disclaimer among a few other things. The food tasted very clean and fresh. Both my Bronzino and my wife’s Red snapper were excellent. The sides were rice and house salad which paired well with lemon and the fishes. We also had the octopus and the baba ganoush which were both some of the best I’ve tried. One thing I will say because it is not described on the menu is if you are trying to avoid burnt foods Egyptian style is burnt flower with cumin among other spices. It is very delicious however and with some lemon is great. One other thing is why plastic cups at a dine in? The server’s were very quick to serve and catered well. The prices were fair along with quantity and the quality was excellent. Parking near by is ok also but not great. I may give Sabry’s a second go but the service fee is highly off putting.
The best seafood I have had! It is very delicious and prepared in the authentic Egyptian way. The waiters were very nice and the service was amazing. A guy who seemed to be the owner went above and beyond in making us comfortable and gave us extra Mousaa’ and Harissa as a gesture of kindness. 100% recommend and would definitely come back when I am in the city next time.
We got the sea food combo for two!
Despite getting the opening time wrong, the wait was worth it. I don’t like eating fish other than from my kitchen because it smells sea fresh and not flavored well enough. But, I was delighted when I tasted my daughter’s fish she bought here. So I had to come in and order my own. Their seasoning is fresh so it heightens your senses and taste buds. The owner’s recipe is one to really enjoy. So to my first fish restaurant review: “I recommend trying this place! I’m sure you will enjoy it.”
You can’t go wrong with fresh lobster and shark. Amazing ingredients and spice(Arab style). Their free appetizers bread is so good. Well priced in a very a commercial zone.
Was able to get a table for two without reservations on Sunday, mother day evening! Busy place where you could see the locals love to go! Parking was difficult to find so we had to park a few blocks away. Waiter forgot our order but offered complimentary drinks (mango and lemonade which was lime infused) while we waited a bit longer. We orders the linguine clam dish and the seafood combo for one that came with salad and rice. It seemed all guests get fresh bread while they waited.
This is the best seafood place I’ve ever been to, the Egyptian style sardines, garlic clams and taojin mixed seafood are to die for. The service is 20/10, I cannot wait to go back.
It’s a small restaurant, kind of cozy- the food is not bad I have had better 🦞 seafood. They serve great babaghanouj and tahini sauce. The service was good the waiter was very friends and kept cleaning our table as we made a huge mess since we were a large group. Yes I would recommend this place.
Loved my first time at Sabry’s Seafood. Me and a friend were looking for a good spot in Astoria and Sabry’s has been on my list for quite a but. Fish is fresh, pita is so good as well as baba ganoush. Portions are easily sharable. The vibe is warm and cozy. We shared baba, pita, salad, rice and Bbq branzino Egyptian style and the total came to $38
Great experience, i’ll be back!
I had a great time eating delicious food at your restaurant. The waiters were committed to great service and were very friendly. The atmosphere was awesome and I definitely liked that you have a very fresh selection. Most importantly, every food and drink on your menu tasted great!
