Old school, New York Italian. As original as it gets. Foods great, classic interior. Family-run restaurant. It's like eating in your grandma's lovely dinning room. The price is very reasonable.
The place looks and feels like an old fashioned Italian restaurant (which is a great thing).
We shared the Baked Clams and the Sauteed Mussels. Both were very good starters. I had the Chicken alla Parmigiana for my entree and I thought it was excellent.
For dessert, we shared the Homemade Tiramisù (since they only had one slice left). It was one of the best tiramisu that I've had in a long time.
Service was very good. The owner, Ida, walked by and chatted with us for a few minutes. Her son was our waiter and he was very friendly.
Everyone in our group agreed that the restaurant was fantastic!
Absolutely delightful little treasure. Hidden inside unassuming gray building, it unexpectedly transports you to a slower time and cozy place. We had 3 different home made pasta dishes and all were delicious. Service was great as well and prices quite reasonable.
If you want to feel out of time this traditional Italian restaurant will transport you and the staff was great to make you appreciate a tradional good Italian Home made pasta . The fluke fish was well cooked and went perfectly with the gnocchi. It is great for a family dinner!
Such a hidden gem. One of the best Italian foods I’ve ever. Cozy, historic atmosphere. Welcoming, knowledgeable and very professional staffs. Food took awhile to come but i promise it’s all worth it!!! Best pork chop and cheesecake ever. We had such a good time! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

This is in effect our go-to family occasion/make a reason to go restaurant. Thank you Anthony and family for always providing a warm welcome, great service, and arguably the best Italian food in NYC. (And 5 star wine list!) Bless mama Ida and her culinary prowess and staying power. The atmosphere is a warm 1960’s time capsule and I hope it never changes!
When a restaurant makes me feel like I’ve been transported to somewhere else, I immediately fall in love. Not only was the atmosphere at Manducatis phenomenally old-school, the food and service is impeccable. Best Spaghetti Carbonara I’ve ever had. Don’t walk, run here and enjoy!!
Years ago when Anthony’s father was still alive I used to come here
Anthony now runs it
Thank god Anyhony is back after a long illness and is running the place
Between himself and his son they run one of the best Italian Resteraunts in Queens!
The wine selection alone is worth going there for!
Thanks Anthony!

Wonderful food and people, friendly engaging owner and staff,, We sat and had a carafe of wine while waiting for our meals which we were taking home to share with family. We learned the history of the restaurant, sixty years in business,forty-four in the same site. Homemade pasta and sauces an at attractive prices. We will be back whenever we visit the city!
We had the pleasure of dining at this family-run Italian restaurant in LIC, and let me tell you, it’s definitely worth the visit! We had the Eggplant Rolletini to start with, then for our main dishes, I had the spaghetti carbonara, and my boyfriend had the chicken alla parmigiana (not pictured: a side of penne pasta that comes with the chicken). For dessert, we had the vanilla and chocolate tartufo. Everything was delicious, authentic cuisine. After chatting with Anthony, the owner and our waiter that night, we found out that his 81-year-old mother is the chef! How amazing is that! Can’t wait to go back to the Cerbone Family’s restaurant for another homemade Italian meal.
