Taco Bueno

An excellent example of how a restaurants can fall from glory due to employees lack of care. A once great fast food place. Be prepared to have your order wrong or forgotten at least once. If you come in the afternoon, you WILL receive old ingredients from earlier in the day such as: stale tostadas, hard flower tortillas, dry cheese, ect. The best option you have is to go inside and order. Make sure to tell them to actually put cheese on your taco. Take your order, and make sure to check the it. When you realize they got your order wrong, take it back to the clerk and have them redo it. Repeat until order is satisfactory. On the rare occasion they get everything right, the food is outstanding, 3x better then Taco Bell.

Not good, food was kind of warm, the refried beans had started to crust, kinda like when you leave them out all night. The salsa bar looked terrible, all the pico and cilantro looked old and wilted. Steak quesadilla was more like a jerky quesadilla. The sweet tea tasted funny. The health department might need to go in for a visit. Worst Bueno location I've ever been to. No wonder we were the only customers dining in...

Taco Bueno is the best fast food tex-mex food out there. They have frequent specials posted on their Facebook page. I love the beans. All of the platters come with beans and rice and they have an excellent breakfast. My only complaint is they serve only Pepsi products. They changed from Coca-Cola a few years back and it was very disappointing change.

We waited for our food for 32 minutes with only 2 customers before us. When we received our food it was cold & hard. My rice was burnt, cold & hard. The soft taco tortilla was hard and meat inside cold. One of the Mexi Dip & Chips had no cheese in the shell bowl due to a whole in the side and all cheese was in the platter as well as both orders the beans being cold & hard. The tostada was a mess - lettuce all over the platter & very little sour cream. Why would a cardboard box be sitting on the kitchen counter as well as a red cleaning bucket? And the bathroom had the toilet brush sitting right out in the open and no hand soap in dispenser. Stuff on walls & floors. Let me also mention that there were only 2 employees working - Eva was doing the drive thru & inside register & order taking while only 1 person making the food and then Eva went back to help her make the food. I did not see Eva put on any gloves after handling the money & then going back to make food orders. And then to top it all off the manager Eva asked if we wanted her to make the whole order over or refund our money...that was a no brainer...REFUND MY MONEY because I am not waiting another 32 minutes for our order! As we were turning to leave Eva threw the tray with food behind her towards the kitchen. Wow...my daughter went back & asked her name & store number since we did not have a receipt after the refund. My daughter snapped pictures of all the food items, kitchen & bathroom to send to corporate office for review. I will never step foot back in that place. My daughter and my son live & work in Arlington and my husband works in Arlington so the word will be spread to let everyone know "Do not go to this nasty place to eat, poor management, unsanitary, and very rude Manager Eva." I was totally in shock at her behavior to say the least.
