Best subs in the DC area hands down, excellent NY style pizza and great selection of Italian products. I’ve been eating there for twenty years and the food has been consistently excellent

Over 30 years ago my parents moved to this area to start a family. Originally from RI there was and still is a tremendous lack of great authentic Italian places in the DC metro region. We would literally bring back pasta, cheese and deli meats from New England until we found this place! It was not until I was in my 20's that I stumbled across this placed and shared it with my Dad who also lived in DC at the time. This past year my Dad fell ill to cancer and while this was a favorite of both of ours, he found comfort in the food you both prepare and sell here. I brought him food from here on a regular basis and he always lit up after discovering what I found on my most recent trips. I have always loved both the food and the service but I will be forever grateful for bringing us back to our Italian roots when we needed them most. "Mangia!"
