The food was very fresh and service friendly. No wait to sit and prices were very fair. Great selection of sides; the hush puppies were my favorite side but the fried okra was very good too. Sauce was a little plain but everything else was good enough to overcome. I would recommend if you’re driving through.

Called in an order for my lady and myself during lunch rush. Juicy hamburger steaks were delivered with a smiling face and were ready when I got there. The home style potatoes and gravy and green beans were simply awesome! I’m gonna venture to say, at the risk of getting myself in trouble, that the fried green tomatoes are the best I’ve had ever! Also the lemon ice box pie and chocolate fudge pie for dessert topped it off perfectly. Would recommend to everyone. My better half’s exact words were “looks like we found another favorite here in Oxford/Anniston”. Do yourselves a favor and check it out.

The food was good it’s kind of different than the other bbq restaurants I’ve been to but that’s okay. I had the bbq beef plate with the three sides and it was joy eating it, I may have to admit I think I had too many sides to go along with it. The atmosphere was not so loud when we went in there which was okay in comparison to other restaurants I’ve been to. I enjoyed the sweet potato fries, it’s been a long time I have ever tried it. My moms chicken tenders were quite small today when we were there today which I don’t know why but she enjoyed the veggie sides.

Fish fillet platter great as always. Fried green tomatoes were awesome. They have single dipped and also a double dipped option few pennies more. As always went with hamburger steak never overcooked which makes it go great with the creamed potatoes. Dont forget the gravy on tbe taters. They offer brown or white. I prefer the brown good taste light gravy. Texas toast of course. No room for dessert but get it if you di. Homemade and worth it
