Bgr Burgers Grilled Right

The burger itself was just ok. As you can see the tomato was almost thicker than the patty (personally I love this but I can see why it wouldn't be popular). I don't remember much of how it tasted. All in all it was just underwhelming. On top of that it seemed like the tray return area hadn't been cleaned in some time. Staff were friendly though and there were enough people to make it lively. Atmosphere was fun. Prices were fine, nothing outrageous.

My daughter and I had the best burger there today. We walked in and got real worried, every table had people sitting down waiting for food and 2 groups in front of us and nobody was eating. I thought we would be waiting forever, but I was soo wrong. Our order was taken in 2 minutes and our food served 5 minutes later. The burger was exactly how a burger should taste. It was perfect. My daughter ate hers faster than I ate mine and that never happens. If I lived closer that would be bad news for my waistline. The place was really clean too and the employees were just as good as the food.

All the staff does is to put the food on the counter and call your name. You must go get it. So why do the gratuity percentages go 30, 25, 22, 20? Customers are expected to bus their own tables. So what is the tip for? When I asked for a cup for ice they gave me a 6 oz Solo cup. That was on a $19 meal with a $4 tip (custom). I don’t come here very often because it does feel like a rip off even if the food is good. My biggest issue with the whole BGR chain is this app that expects me to tip before anything is done. The food is already at a premium price. A 16oz shake for $6 is not cheap. So why do they hit me with this tip thing and I still get up to go to the counter to pick up my food to serve myself. We need to rethink the whole tipping bit. I don’t go to BGR nearly as often as I might because the tip thing just feels like a rip off.

Although I’m a chef, and yes a burger nut! I’m trying to always seek out that one good burger and sometimes don’t have time to make my own burgers… The Burger 🍔 Joint has been my go to place in Annapolis, Maryland! With awesome dry aged beef, and not just beef burgers, chicken and tuna as well. I have never been let down with dry or over cooked burgers. Flavors, textures and umami are all there. Satisfying and comforting! And the staff is friendly! 👍

My husband and I frequent this place for their sandwiches and fries. He gets a grilled chicken sandwich and fries. I get the beyond burger and tater tots. Although the food is delicious, the inside has more of a cafeteria vibe and the floor is a little sticky. It doesn’t kill me but just something I noticed. We’ll continue to come here because the food is that good.

Me and 2 co workers just ordered from BGR @ Annapolis. I got the Tuna Terriyaki lettuce wrap. The other two got a Kentucky Bourbon sandwhich and Pretzel bacon burger. All we’re out of this world ! Cooked to perfection. The sweet potato fries were amazing as well!! Quick delivery ! Easy to use website! Highly recommend BGR @ Annapolis!
