Chipotle Mexican Grill

Gotta love double steak! This place just straight-up sucks. No other way to put it. The quality of food/preparation is absolutely never there no matter how many time I give it a second chance. Even worse, the employees take away from the experience. They are consistently rude,short and judgmental; not nice whatsoever. Wish this wasn’t the case, but won’t be going back.

Worst Chipotle I have ever been to… My wife and I love Chipotle, but this location has been rude and charges extra if you want a little more salsa or cheese, and the amount of extra was literal pinches… Plus the initial amount depends on the server’s hand size. We will have to drive to Ankeny to go to a Chipotle that is decent. The only reason this location survives is that it’s located in a University town with not a lot of options and I’m guessing the patrons don’t know any better.

Inferior quality food and service as compared to what I'm used to receiving at other Chipotles in other towns. They neglected to include the salsa that was paid for, charged for extra tortillas on a "put the tortillas on the side" order, AND the chips were stale! How much more can you get wrong people?!

I'm heartbroken for all the negative reviews because of the quick knee-jerk reactions to the larger systemic issues plaguing our service industry. Yes, I am annoyed at waiting for my mobile orders beyond 20+ mins but Chipotle customer service has always treated me well and these places are trying to recruit for more help so you've gotta try your best to be patient. I think the food has always been pretty good despite what others have said. Corporate really done goofed Boo-rrito night though. Never forget the massive crowd that spilled over into Aldi's parking lot.

I eat at chipotle 3-4 times a week. I am familiar with the menu and what to expect. The quality of the food at this chipotle was not acceptable. The rice was waterlogged/ soggy. I asked the person at the counter, “what happened to the rice”. She said, “um, they are making more now.” I said, “that shouldn’t be served to anyone.” She said, “so you don’t want rice?” Of course I want rice! I was getting a burrito bowl. The rice is normally the best part. Not the case today. I shouldn’t have to negotiate a certain quality of rice. That standard has already been set by chipotle. Management and workers should know what should be served. If in doubt, throw it out!
