Really cute place and great coffee! I took my 4 year old for a "tea party" and it was a lot of fun. My daughter loved the raspberry steamer, which the barista made at the perfect temperature so my little one didn't burn her mouth. I got the tumbleweed (which tastes just like a snickers) and they far surpass Starbucks in taste. I have also gotten the turtle mocha before and it was equally delicious. The chocolate chunk scone was mom and daughter approved. They had puzzles and games so we could play something during our tea party. Staff was very nice and friendly. We will definately be back!

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I love Cabin Coffee they have a great menu the food is great and always hot. I love the wraps and smoothies and my boyfriend who is super picky about his coffee raves about the coffee here hes a little obsessed. They also have super amazing customer service I placed an order today through DoorDash and a few things were missing from the menu DoorDash didnt put the full menu up as they claimed nor did they ask what size beverage i wanted however I made notes and called Cabin Coffee directly and they were super helpful and understanding Izzy and another girl I spoke to at 11:30 on 05/04 whos name I cant remember Im soo sorry I forgot to double check b4 i hung up those ladies deserve a raise if I could have tipped them instead of DoorDash I would have. They made the southwest wrap Id wanted and got the size drink i asked for even though it wasnt thier fault that DoorDash made errors in the menu they put up. Thank you for the amazing customer service. I rarely post reviews unless its really great or horrible. Today it was definitely worth telling people thank you again for the great customer service!!!

A friend told me about a Greek Coffee she got here. Knowing I'm Greek and a coffee lover, I had to go. I love an hour away and I will drive here just for good coffee. So the first time I arrived I found out the Greek coffee is a June special, but they made it for me. I also did their "cold press" (kinda like cold brew). Yes two coffees one stop. It was so smooth. So good. The Greek coffee wasn't exactly like I have had in Greece, but for an Iowa coffee shop I'd never complain. The cold press was amazing. I've craved it ever since. So today on my day off I drove from Carroll to Ames just to get some coffee. The barista was so friendly, and mentioned they had white coffee. Say what!?!?! I get white coffee at my fav coffee shop out of state. It is nutty flavored and so smooth. So, I for sure ordered a white coffee. She suggested a few and I went with the hurricane, a coconut flavored drink. I will without a doubt be going back again before I leave Ames to get more for the weekend. Such a good smooth coffee. Not bitter like most "big" coffee shops we have in the area. They roast in house and man, its so good.
