Chick-fil-a

I'm am always impressed with how quickly our order is ready. We have a family of 8 so when we order, it is quite an order but I've never waited more than a few minutes for our food. Usually by the time we have our drinks, our food is ready. Their employees are always cheerful and provide a great level of service.

The drive up only is a bummer...living in fear damages businesses and consumer confidence. Despite that, Chick-fil-A has streamlined their drive service and made it more efficient, at least at the Ames location. Food was good, but I ordered grilled chicken nuggets, but got what appeared to be a small diced chicken breast for 8 bucks.

We were visiting my mom, who is very high risk for C19, and we wanted to bring her something good for lunch since she does not dine out right now. Pulled in with a sinking heart because the line for the drive through was very long, but I decided it was worth the wait. I was SO IMPRESSED by how fast it went! Multiple staff outside taking orders and delivering food to cars, it was extremely organized and efficient. All staff was kind and courteous and it was a HOT day, so I wanted to tell them that I appreciate their effort to keep things moving while standing out in the heat!! Our food was excellent and correct and we will definitely be returning! This was my FIRST experience with Chick-fil-A. Nice job making a great first impression.

As someone from out of town, the lines at Ames Chick-fil-A can seem long and intimidating but I'm here to tell you that they are pros. The lines during closure of the dining room are operated with speed and absolute precision. Only knock is that you don't really get a chance to look at the menu, which isn't a huge deal cause I'll take the efficiency.
