Mama's Pizza

Found out of this place from a co-worker,when I saw how big the slice and how it tasted. I had to Google the place and read the owner is from NY. I went to get two slices and was able to meet him. I thanked him for being a piece y home to Georgia. I have tried other "NY style pizza" and they did not have the taste that Mama's Pizza has. OMG, they also have Sicilian pie, which I haven't had it seen I moved out of NY. EVERYONE needs to go eat there,you will not be disappointed 😊😋🍕💖🥰

Ordered online via Door Dash. They got our drink order wrong (not sure if that was the restaurant or Door Dash though). Garlic bread had no garlic. Mozzarella wedges are chewy and underdone. As you can see from the photos, one pizza had all of the toppings slid off in transit and the flavors were just Meh. The larger white pizza is bland and has very little actual flavor. It's also missing garlic and olive oil. Normally white pizzas are topped with basil and olive after cooking also, so this is another miss. Again.. some issues were no doubt Door Dash. The rest seem to be serious quality control issues. I doubt we will be trying Mama's again. The two pizzas alone were about $20 each. I've had much better for cheaper. And I hate leaving 3 star reviews. Our total order with uncut-up non garlic garlic bread, undone mozzarella wedges, bad pizzas with not only bland toppings but cut haphazardly, and an incorrect drink order cost upwards of $75 with delivery included. The only flavorful things were the cannoli's. Sorry Mama's. I hate to talk negatively when I leave reviews, but we've had WAY better for WAY less.

Pizza was yummy. Great customer service. However, need more toppings. The ratio of topping to dough is off. I was searching for the toppings in some bites.. Need to enjoy each bite that includes the topping, especially if I pay additional to add a topping. Don't be stingy with the toppings pizza shops. Jetts pizza does a good job of ensuring the coverage is there.

Just moved down from Chicago and trying different places out. Of course I'm partial to deep dish/stuffed pizza and Nancy's gets me close enough. But I do enjoy NY style from time to time and Mamas was really good and decent prices! My only wish was they had a family size but will definitely be back!
