We were a Party of 11 and all enjoyed not only the food but the service was impeccable! Hilda, our server, was absolutely amazing! She made us laugh, remembered our orders, on top of topping off drinks without ask, selling us everything in the menu for which I can appreciate being in sales, and just overall she provided an outstanding first time experience at this restaurant!
The following food was delicious and I would revisit to eat...
Deviled pimento cheese eggs and side of candied bacon, chicken nachos, Tuna appetizer, Filet Mignon, wow the list goes on... and the desserts are to die for! Some of the best sweet tea ever!
My first trip here and the dinning experience was wonderful. We had a great server named Yusef H. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and took the time to listen and acknowledge all of my food allergies. The scratch made food was phenomenal. I loved the Blackened Chicken Alfredo and my boyfriend had the Tavern Pimento Bacon Cheese Burger. I will come back to eat here on my next trip to Alpharetta, GA.
Good food and service.
We had dinner here on Sunday night - came in without a reservation for a party of 4 and got seated right away.
Everything we had was very good - served hot and fresh including the appetizer which we had deconstructed because we had folks who don’t care for spice. I especially enjoyed the desserts. The butter cake with ice cream is absolutely delicious.
Whoever made the shrimp tacos, my goodness! They were delicious. My date and I also ordered a flatbread and it was very well cooked. There is not much on it but it was not over greasy. I really enjoyed the crab cakes. The fries they came with were alright, but I appreciated they were not too salty. Coleslaw was passable. Thing is, these tacos made up for all of that. As did the appetizer. Clean atmosphere and nice workers. Looking forward to returning to try the dessert!
Visited here for the first time today. The hostess greeted us immediately and although it was super busy, she assured us we'd get a table in a few minutes which we did. The interior of the restaurant feels very ski lodge-y which is great - tall ceilings, wooden beams and a huge double sided fireplace. Our waitress was friendly and fast. I had a salad with salmon and the homade potato chips which were especially good! My friend had the chicken teriyaki which she loved. We finished lunch and moved to the bar for a glass of wine. Service was quick and friendly. I didn't care for my wine and they easily swapped it out. All in all, a great experience!
I wanted to try something different and out of the norm. So we found this little place while visiting Alpharetta and i ordered the Meatball skillet with cheese grits and a side of Brussel sprouts. Sounds like an odd combination but it worked! The flavors were wonderful...the Brussel sprouts were cooked to the right texture but were a little bland. Overall I was pleased. And Our waiter was so sweet and attentive.
I must admit, this is my new favorite spot in Alpharetta hands down! Not only was the food amazing, my waiter was the best!! I wish I could remember his name but I do know he is from MS, we ordered the Delmonico steak and the St. Louis ribs this food was simply great everything was perfect we even topped it off with a butter cake dessert that was out of this world this place should get 10 stars!
Amazing steak, and sides were delicious as well. Everything I ate was amazing. The drinks were great too. My friend and I surely enjoyed ourselves out on the patio.
Reallyyyy good food. I had the spring rolls as an appetizer and the pork chops as my entree, my husband had the cowboy burger and everything was delicious. We also had the warm butter cake and it was so good. Our server was great as well and checked on us a good amount of times to make sure we were still doing okay. Would recommend trying this restaurant if you’re in the area!
I happened to visit on a really busy and hot day, where the wait was extremely long and the AC was broken at the restaurant. Decided to get carryout instead and the food was amazing. One sign of a very good restaurant is the willingness to cook a burger to order, and it was a stunning medium rare perfection! Not to be outdone by the main, the carrot cake I had for dessert ranks in the top 3 I have ever had. Again, absolutely delicious! From scratch is the way they do it there and it shows in every single scrumptious bite. Looking forward to my next trip to the area so I can enjoy the full experience in the dining room!
