DO NOT miss this place. Convenient walk to the Birchmiere... so location is great. It's next to a 7-11. Don't let that fool you. This place is legit. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Offered water and then a discussion of draft beer options. Cocktails also available as well as food. Food smelled delicious. I can not say enough good things about this local gem. Dont miss the back patio. Everyone was working / hustling to make this customer experience fantastic. Kudos.!!
One of my absolute favorite spots in Northern Virginia. Amazing wings (I would eat the Old Bay wings DAILY), apps, and specialty grilled cheeses. This is one of my favorite places to bring visiting friends or get take-out or hang out in the outdoor area with my pup. Highly recommend.

Wide selection of drinks, and some fun coctails. The grilled cheese selection was awesome and they tasted so good! A great place to relax and catch up with friends!
Side note: Just be careful if your on the back patio, sometimes the dry cleaners next-door let big chuncks of lent fly rather often, so watch your drinks!
Let’s face it, friends: It’s been a long pandemic, and we all want to get out. What better reason than comfort food and moonshine? 😅 HopsnShine is a cool and kitschy place with lots of grilled cheese specialty sandwiches and … wait for it… Tater tots. That’s right, friends. I haven’t outgrown them, and neither have you. And they’re DELICIOUS. Crispy and perfect, they’re a taste of carefree childhood. Try the totchos. You won’t regret it.
I also tried the Let’s Shroom grilled cheese sandwich, which was not as melty as it should have been, but the half I took home was perfection after a few minutes in the air fryer.
Now let’s talk booze. The Ruby Red Grapefruit moonshine had just the right combination of infused flavor and a little bit of burn in the throat. It also was fantastic in the Sunrise Over Del Ray cocktail.
The location in a strip mall belies the wonders of food and drink in this place. It has plenty of outdoor space and is both kid- and dog-friendly. Check it out, y’all.
Awesome food. Grill cheese are killer, and they feature the best tots I've ever had. Great beer selection so that's a thing. Didn't try the moonshine yet. Patio out back is big and I bet this place is a blast in the warm weather. Will come back.
I love Hops N Shine, the food is always delicious and fresh. The service is excellent and fast and super friendly. Just a overall great atmosphere, only thing I hate is the parking 😒.

We went here for the first time to have a casual dinner. It was great! They stuck to their niche in terms of food and did it well. As others said, the location is a bit odd but don’t let that deter you. It looks like they had a patio in the back which I’m sure is fun in warmer weather. Staff was friendly, attentive, and got the orders out in a timely manner.
