Big Bite Pizza

Whoever took the order wasn’t nice. Ordered for a couple nurses on the unit and she complained about having 7 orders. I asked for the prices of each order and she complained about “having to get out another calculator.” We’ve order from this establishment many times. Paid for the order in cash, delivery driver doesn’t say so much as a “hi or thank you.” They won’t get anymore of my money.

I've been ordering pizza from big bite for over 5 years at both locations. The bake is consistent for the pizza and the ingredients are perfect. They aren't too saucy, too dry, too anything. Even the pepperoni and sausage aren't too greasy as many may complain. The thin crust is crispy and does NOT hold more than 3 toppings very well. There are two issues I have: first, the blue cheese containers aren't marked so sometimes I receive ranch, which I don't like; and second, thin crust is priced the same as regular crust (that's just not right). Lastly, where I live isn't the easiest place to find and patience is required to have my order delivered if it's a new driver, but if it's a veteran, we get our food hot. I grew up eating pizza in Northern NJ where Italians made our pizza and the ingredients are similar in flavor.

I've driven by this place countless times, and it intrigued me, but I never bit (pun intended). Today, I finally did and MY GOODNESS! I've lived about five minutes away for three years now, and I've made a huge mistake never ordering it before. I had the Mighty Meat Calzone and it blew me away. First of all, it's huge (about the size of a medium pizza, but in calzone form). It can feed two people easily, or provide you with lunch for a day or two. It was loaded. I've been looking for something to compare to DP Dough (non-local calzone only spot), and this is it. My wife ordered the small house salad and chicken pita and was raving about them. She also couldn't finish thanks to the large portion size, so she has lunch for tomorrow. I'll be back! And likely sooner rather than later. Next up: their wings!

I love Big Bite. I am moving in November this year to Ashburn and I am going to miss you guys. I remember when you opened, back at the beginning of 2000's. I have been a client since 2007. I love your pizzas, your potato skins and mozzarella sticks....your burgers and cheese steak! I am sorry I won't be able to enjoy your food anymore :(. In the meantime, I will order as many times as I can and I am happy you survived the pandemic.
