I frequently order a whole cake from here for special occasions like birthdays, Mother's Day, Christmas, etc. It's delicious!! The last time I ordered was last year's Christmas. I always order the same cake, DARK chocolate mousse cake. I always have to mention to the front desk associate to make sure the cake will be made in dark chocolate. I've spoken to several different associates there, and it seems like only one of them understands and will actually make a note for the chef to make it in dark chocolate. The others all tell me the mousse is already in dark chocolate, but nope they are not (according to the menu). I have received and ate cake that was not specify to the chef and when I tasted it I can tell it's a bit too sweet. This is the only down side, which is the reason for 4 star rating instead of 5. This bakery is phenomenal! I have recently traveled to Italy and this was as good if not better than bakeries in Florence. The blueberry Danish and chocolate croissant warmed in the oven... brace yourself. It's great to know that I can go here for world class pastries and great service too. I will definitely order things for parties or office meetings. This place will not disappoint you. ♡♡◇◇◇

I love this place! Always order from here for special occasions even if we have to drive far to pick it up. Their desserts and treats are delicious! Perfectly sweet and never to much! Always elegantly made! We bought our perfect looking and tasting wedding cake for a super affordable price! Love them!!! You must stop by and try their cakes!!!!!

Excellent quality at a great price! I have visited bakeries all over the DMV. This is my favorite. It is not t all close to where I live but it's worth the drive. I love all their fruit tarts and have tried many. The only dud I've had there was the cherry muffin. Definitely below their normal quality - dry and bland.

The cupcakes were great. The quiche was okay. Mostly, the place was begging for better customer service. It's hard to pick a quiche if the person behind the counter isn't telling you what's actually in them. I asked several times, in different ways. Bought some anyway. My kid doesn't like bell pepper- would've been useful to know it was in there! We still had a good time. Sat outside. We probably won't be back though. If you haven't been already, try the Swiss bakery in North Springfield. We cannot stop going back there! The bread is amazing, pastry is great and brunch/lunch options are delicious. They bake fresh every morning. You have to go early to actually get a good selection of things. After one visit, you'll find the motivation! Hot menu is only available until lunch time.
