Father’s Day picnic. I have had the chicken salad sandwich and it’s tasty. Today I ordered that and husband got Turkey … my entire sandwich fell apart, the bread was toasted, which I asked for, however it all fell into pieces so I could not eat it at all like a sandwich. I did not take a fork with me. Very disappointing. They also toasted my husbands sandwich which he did not ask for. I thought about going back to return it, and for $30 for two sandwiches!!! I probably should have, but it’s just a hassle.
Sadly …the staff at the check out counter were rude…we asked a question about the Turkey.
I love their bread, in particular the M bread. The last few times I have gone to get a chunk…it’s always sliced. This time the only part unsliced was the end. I bought it anyway, but why slice it unless the customer asks?
They used to be at the Alexandria farmers market, but no longer. It’s a hike for me to go down to Belle View, not sure I will venture down again.

BLT is yummy. Key lime pie is good. Everything usually is.
*don’t get the pesto chicken sandwich it’s gross. Maybe it’s the meat. It’s regular deli meat maybe that’s what makes sandwich not taste good. My boyfriend and I both agreed on chicken pesto sandwich.

I got the Cubano and it was really tasty. The pork was nice and crispy and they grilled the bread before putting it all together, which was a nice touch. The chocolate mousse is just divine. The iced chai latte was flavorful but a little too cream heavy, in my opinion.

Got the Cuban sandwich and was very disappointed by it. First, the bread and pickles were great. Then you get greasy reheated bland pork meat. Along with it greasy fatty bacon because why not? Not sure how this constitutes as a Cuban when you get ham and pork. Perhaps the bacon was a substitute for the ham? All in all not a pleasurable experience. I ate half and threw the other away. The only thing that I enjoyed more was the ginger molasses cookie. It was packed with ginger and molasses flavor. The cookie was big and soft in the middle. I might give this place a second chance in the near future.

Unfortunately did not have a great experience with their biscuit breakfast sandwiches.
The biscuits for both were very dry and crumbly, falling apart in your hands just trying to pick them up. Ended up just eating pieces of the broken-up sandwich with our fingers as holding the sandwiches soon became impossible. It maybe would have been a bit better with more sauce but the biscuits were really just not good.
Ordered a bacon egg & cheese and a sausage egg & cheese sandwich. Both had a disappointing meat to biscuit ratio with just a single sausage link in one (far too difficult to bite into without again, destroying the whole sandwich) and an odd-looking chewy piece of bacon resembling the sensation of chewing on a piece of gum.
Also, what was supposed to be a quick stop for breakfast, despite being the only ones at the window by 8am, turned into more of a 30min wait for two breakfast sandwiches but I was in no rush.
Went out of our way headed into DC considering the positive reviews from this restaurant but honestly regretted it. I'm sure their other menu options are better but I wouldn't go too far out of your way to get breakfast here.

I did not have a chance to take a picture...because I was hungry and the food was absolutely delicious! I was recommended to come here by my friend Josh and I'm so glad I came. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich (sub the mustard for Red Pepper Aioli), French Onion Soup, and the Pecan Bread Pudding. I was also, greeted by a wonderful team. I thank Markos for the awesome tour. I'm a former Cook in the Navy/Chef at the White House Navy Mess, so I appreciate good food and service when I see it. Count me in as a repeated customer. Thank you!!!!

This sandwich alone was $16.96! For processed deli turkey meat! Not worth it at all, this place is overpriced.

They serve good breakfast, different types of fresh breads, sandwiches, rice bowls, pastries, etc.
We’ve tried the items below at the Alexandria location and they were all delicious.
⚠️ Not much seating available. Great for takeout!
✅ All day breakfast!
✅ Chocolate muffin
✅ Avocado toast (grilled multigrain with sliced avocado, tomato and sprouts).
✅ Breakfast'Wich (classic bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on freshly baked sourdough bread with a light smear of garlic aioli.
✅ French toast (house made brioche dipped in French egg custard and served with maple syrup and fresh whipped butter)
👌Don’t forget to try this too:
✅ BLT (thick cut bacon, sliced tomatoes, lettuce, garlic aioli on their signature sourdough bread).
