King Street Cafe

Amazing little hole in the wall on King Street for breakfast and lunch. Its cheap, its good, and everyone working there is so nice. Also, if you ask, she will make a combination of whatever you want (see Turkey egg and cheese croissant attached). Also, they have really good smoothies! The Best Breakfast and lunch in old town by far!

My family had breakfast here on a Saturday morning. The breakfast burritos are fresh and delicious. Between my wife and I, we split three burritos: the hummus and tomato burrito, the sausage breakfast burrito, and the bacon breakfast burrito. All three were delicious. We are in town visiting family, and will definitely want to come back next time we are in Alexandria. What most impressed us was the genuine friendliness of the owner. She was extremely kind to us and to our 6 month old, chatting with us in between other customers. We have already recommended this cafe to our family who lives in town!

Got the King Street sandwich. The ratio of bread, ingredients, meat and other things was superb. The flavors were there but rather basic, not too much of one thing, some spice would be nice. The meat wasn't frozen from what I could tell, which I appreciate. One problem with the place is they close and open erratically. Please be consistent on your closing times.
