I've been to the Juan Tabo location specifically on several different occasions. Prices are reasonable and it's very easy to accommodate large groups. They do slices and several different sizes of pizza. The first time, I was a little skeptical but was pleasantly surprised. I was temporarily on a non-wheat restriction and was worried about going to a pizza/pasta place and not finding anything I could eat. They were able to reasonable accommodate me. On another occasion, my mom and I split the sampler (cheese sticks, fried mushrooms, fried ravioli, and fried zucchini). All of them were delicious, the ravioli a little kick to it. My dad had gotten the build your own calzone with bacon, sausage, mushrooms, olives, and then some. He normally has a big appetite and wasn't able to finish the whole thing. A few others at our table had gotten spaghetti and the southwest chicken pasta, both of which looked amazing. Another time, my date took me here. We were ultimately torn between the fried mushrooms and the calamari to start off with, but went with the calamari. Tender, peppery in a lemony sauce. Next, we went with a medium Mega Meat (canadian bacon, bacon, meatball, pepperoni, sausage, beef). The meatballs were the perfect touch and there were plenty of slices to take home. The cheese, perfect. And finally, we finished off with the chocolate cake. The cake is also to die for. At $10 per slice, it may seem a little outrageous until you realize it's like getting a whole cake that looks like a slice covered in creamy chocolate frosting. My mouth is watering over here just thinking about it. Just surprised that this location isn't as well-known as it should be

Mario’s was a good place to eat and hang out. Their breadsticks were really good… drenched in garlic butter. My mouth is watering now just remembering! Lots of choices and menu items, but we were in a pizza mood… Which did not disappoint. We ordered a create your own pizza and ordered it to large for the two of us so we could take some with us.

Waitress was really nice. The pizza was huge and really good too. I also would recommend the Italian soda because it is really delicious. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Good basic Italian food. Their pizza is tasty, and it's fun to watch groups devour the giant sized pie. I also recommend the Stromboli with its delicious marinara sauce. Their gelato is made on site and tastes wonderful. Other desserts include excellent cheesecake and carrot cake. Service is solid. Mario's has been in Albuquerque for a long time and consistently delivers.

Recently moved to Albuquerque from New York, and my experience at Mario's Pizza couldn't have been any better!! Our server was extremely nice and attentive, and our slices of pizza came out fresh and hot. After telling our server I was from New York, and that their pizza was comparable to my favorite pizza from New York City (which is a very high compliment- I NEVER have said that about pizza outside the city before), our server came by to drop the check and gave us a to go container with a complimentary (and delicious) brownie. Following behind our server was the owner, and we had a great conversation with him about pizza and New York, where we learned about the pizzeria's history, how his family originated making pizza in Italy, then New York City, and eventually in Albuquerque. After shaking his hand, we left the restaurant, and I can say it was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had, with the owner and the staff making us feel like family, as well as the outstanding food. Even though it was only our first time there, I foresee us going back there many many times, as I am already craving more of their delicious pizza and made to order classic Italian sodas!

Stopped here on a cross country road trip. I looked up on multiple websites and this was claimed as the best pizza in Albuquerque. In all honesty, wasn’t too impressed by it. It just seemed like a good to decent pizza. The staff were pretty cool though. The picture is of our pizza, you already know I got the meat lovers. My wife had the vegetarian one or whatever. Please don’t assume that I got that because I would never do something like that. Not in a creepy way but I love meat too much to ever quit it. I have alot of unhealthy habits and I think eating meat is the last thing I have to worry about. To sum it up, good pizza, staff is great and the parking is nice and easy. Would recommend if you’re driving past Albuquerque as we were.

Ordered green chili chicken pizza, fried calamari , Cobb salad and green chili Alfredo fries. Everything was delicious. Even after the 30 min drive home. Was trying to find a good spot for calamari and I have found a new go to in Albuquerque, I know it’s a stretch here in New Mexico but they did a good job.

It was a nice outing for me and my son. We split a cheese curd appetizer that was very crispy and delicious and had an 18' pizza. My only criticism is that the pizza would be better with a few more minutes in the oven. My wife loved the leftovers we brought home, too.
