Thai Cuisine 2 is a honest to goodness Thai food eatery. Some of the best Thai food I have had outside of Thailand. What makes good food...the balance of flavors, fresh ingredients all cooked just right. Don't expect flashy decor with waiting staff in crisp starched work wear. And don't expect to pay the price that flashy restaurants ask for. GOOD food at an affordable price. TC2 has to go on your list...you won't regret it.
The service is great & really work with you when you want to customize your order. There is limited space, but the atmosphere is chill & service is great. I recommend going in small groups and is perfect for an intimate dinner.
This place is amazing. The food has excellent spice. The flavor is bold and rich. Those dishes come out piping hot and I always enjoy what I have. I recommend any offering that has those flavors you enjoy. Time your as rush hour can have you waiting forever. Good problem for the business, the only drawback for the customer.
We were traveling from Florida to California. After a long day of driving we decided to stay over in Albuquerque NM. As usual we went to our app and looked for something light and easy that wouldn't punish us during the next days drive. That's how we found this place. I love Thom Yum, but, I tend to order it too much. I asked our waiter what he recommended. After a short conversation of what I like and what I was in the mood for he recommended the pad kee mow (drunken noodles). I was thoroughly pleased with his choice. The noodles were cooked perfectly. The chicken was tender. The combination of spices was perfect. If we drive through this area again I will gladly stop back by.
Pretty good. Small joint with friendly service. My good friend enjoys the oversized fat noodle dishes. I often get the green curry chicken. It's the only version of the dish I've had that has eggplant slices among the vegetables in it. Always very tasty though and always well prepared.
Hot means hot!. When you order hot here, they don't mess around. Food is consistently delicious. Never been here for dinner, because the lunch specials are amazing and great deal for the money. Comes with soup, two small spring rolls, fruit and dessert with the entree!
Best Thai. Stumbled upon this little gem while traveling, and now try to find any opportunity to come back to ABQ just to eat here. Hands down the best Thai...and we had a little of everything. I'm coming back for seconds.
Come here for lunch. Do yourself a favor and come here for lunch. The lunch specials are about the best deal I've ever seen in town. The food is always good. I'm not a huge fan of the strange dessert pudding that they give you but that's just a personal preference on my part. I've tried a couple of their curries, which are all fantastic. It's not really the busiest place in the world, so you can always expect good service. I haven't been in for dinner though, because it don't really see the point when I can get such an amazing deal on lunch items.
Great Lunch Menu!!!. Thai Cuisine II has a great lunch menu that comes with soup, spring roll, main dish, followed by dessert. A great value. They are very accommodating to vegans too. So whatever you order can be made vegan. I ordered the Pad Kee Mow (spicy noodles), which I ordered mild and there was still a bit of spiciness to it, so if you are a super light weight for spicy food, ask for mild on the side. My partner got the Pad Thai. The meal is delicious and filling.

Excellent and charming. Very authentic cuisine - Having enjoyed Thai Cuisine at Montgomery thought I'd give this one a try - and was very happy with the food, the generous portion, the freshness, taste and ambiance (surprise! inside a former what-was-it red A-frame joint) - had the Tom Kha Khai -broth, herbs, chicken soup with lemongrass - side of jasmine (or brown) rice.
Have had Thai soup like this across the country from New York Chicago San Francisco - very authentic Thai cooking. Still like their Thai Cuisine I with the hard-working waitress on the west side, but when downtown its a great relief to have found a new place to go besides Thai Orchid.
My wife spotted this place because she is vegan and the waiter said they can make any dish vegan. She had the Pineapple Fried Rice that she she got without egg and light oil, she really liked it. I got the Teriyaki Fried Rice plus shrimp and it was very good with a large portion.
You can tell they have it in a bowl because it has that upside bowl shape (see my picture).
The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable!
I can easily recommend this place!
And they have take out and I am sure we will be using that service in the future!!

Delicious place for Thai food at a good price. Location is at a corner, parking is behind building. You can grab a menu and seat yourself, service was responsive and kind.

I have been HORRIBLY remiss in leaving a review for this restaurant, which is our favorite in Albuquerque. The food is great and fresh, but what really makes the place is Noah, who is truly delightful.
Great beer selection, too!
We come here every time we are in ABQ, which is about 4 times a year, and we recommend it to any of our friends who are visiting the city.
The building is quaint and cozy and it's always clean. There is a small but convenient parking lot right around back and we've always been lucky to get a space. Lots of street parking, too.

So glad we stumbled upon this place. The curry was insanely good, as were the drunken noodles. And the lunch special made it such a great deal!
This is a delicious Thai place. The chilies have a nice earthy flavor. Everything was cooked really well and presented beautifully. I tried the pad Thai, and my partner tried the kao pad ga prow. Both were delicious. We found our new favorite Thai.

10/10 would recommend this cozy Thai restaurant! Order takeout from the menus available right at the entrance or "seat yourself" as the sign suggests. As you nervously scan the room for a table you will notice there are only about 10 tables to sit at, but don't take that as a bad note. The close seating created a warm atmosphere that I quite enjoyed! The staff were very prompt in seeing us and taking our order, each wearing genuine smiles. Our food -which included: 2 lunch entrees, 4 egg rolls, and 2 soups- came out piping hot within a few minutes! The portions allowed for 2 doggy bags today, which for someone who is used to being the first one done at the table is a rare occurrence. The cherry on top you ask? Even with a dessert of tapioca pudding and fresh fruit, our bill came out to $25 even with a 25% tip! Customer definitely satisfied! Ending notes? Thai hot= pain, tread lightly when choosing a spicy entree. Also if you sit close to a window, it could be chilly (especially during winter).
I had the pumpkin curry, very good mildly spicy. Our waiter was great! A little disappointed they didn't have coffee but other than that, it was a good experience
Red Curry was on point! We ordered it with pineapple fried rice ... YUM. great place to go if you wanto to be STUFFED when u leave. They have a great lunch selection that comes with dessert
