We have driven by Pacific Paradise hundreds of times, but never went in. So when a friend wanted to meet us there, we readily agreed. How have we missed this wonderful restaurant all these years? We loved it and returned within a week.
Their food is delicious and their menu goes on and on, with dishes from a wide variety of Asian countries...oh, and Hawaii. Plus they have an excellent sushi bar. (The Pacific Paradise Roll is amazing.) We need to go back many times just to try all the dishes that called to us.
But it's going to be hard not to order the crispy eggplant every time. We ordered this just because it sounded good and it was a huge hit. Disks of deep fried eggplant in the most delicious, addictive glaze! If you go here, you MUST order this dish (you must, you must).
Also, the rice pizza is amazing...either the seafood or the drunken versions. Sounds weird and it's hard to describe, but trust us, it's delicious.
Photos are the crispy eggplant (after almost half was eaten) and softshell crab and vegetable tempura.
Go on line and look at their menu, but leave yourself lots of time because it's like reading War and Peace.
Lots of food! Not a lot of bucks! (The price we paid per person included apps, sushi, and sake.)

A hidden gem! Our friends actually found out about the place and come here frequently, so they recommended we try it out. It was extremely well decorated, and totally decked out with a partial ship, palm trees, and a lot of “pacific” decor. The service was 10/10 as our waiter was extremely attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The food was great and we enjoyed our first time here. Definitely will be coming back in the future!

I’ve been going to pacific paradise for years and it is one of my favorite restaurants for Sushi though they have a huge variety of other tasty items. The prices are reasonable and the service is always friendly! They have a great Sake selection and the deserts are delicious too, make sure to save room!

Very delicious food. The softshell crab feeds both the eye and mouth. The Thai drunken fried rice is very well seasoned but not too salty or sweet. My favorite of all is actually the steamed fish with ginger and green scallions. The broth is absolutely fantastic. The seasoning is just right, honestly possibly the top 2 steamed fish I ever had in my life (and I had this dish many times).

Friendly people. Great atmosphere tasty food. Especially loved there shrimp tempura and fried eggplant to get started. Yellow tail sushi was by far my favorite from sushi order. If you are around San Pedro and Candelaria I highly recommend you stop in and treat yourself.

Such a wonderful, friendly, attentive waitress to a party of 8. The food was delicious -i recommend the curry. Everyone in my table was happily satisfied with their dishes. Will come back. Enjoyed the vibe and decor 🙂

By far some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. We were in town visiting and I saw it had great reviews so we decided to try it out. The attention to detail is great, the miso soup was delicious and the sushi was beyond this world. Definitely would recommend, it’s worth every penny I promise.

We went to Pacific Paradise tonight for our first time and found the food to be beautifully put together and absolutely tasty. We tried a bunch of things on the menu from the vietnamese roll appetizer, two of the soups, sushi, sake, and two main course dinners. Everything I tried beat my expectations and if I could continue eating I would have loved to try the desserts. Our server was a pleasure to work with and was very knowledgeable about the foods on the menu a d made several good suggestions. I'll definitely going back and actually look forward to introducing this place to some friends.

Absolutely delicious. The parking is pretty nice, but the inside of the restaurant is amazing. It looks fancy and the servers were all friendly, helpful and polite. The sushi is absolutely amazing too! This will probably be my favorite sushi place in town! They have a happy hour price on sushi from 4-5:30 I believe, and the prices are amazing. I got 3 rolls of delicious sushi on top of an appetizer for only $23, compared to normal prices on sushi would be $23 for 2 rolls or less. It's a great deal during happy hour. 10/10 would recommend!

Took my dad for lunch and we enjoyed the sushi. The tuna and salmon was so fresh and they serve nice meaty chunks! Our server, Danni (I hope I spelled her name correctly) was so good with my dad, whom suffers from Alzheimers. I'm looking forward to going back as they have the best sushi by far from all other places I've tried.

The sushi is supper fresh and the staff are on spot at this location. We were seated immediately and it was a little busy. The staff were short handed but they did good. The Hawaiian crunch plate was so good! And the atmosphere was cool and comfortable. Come eat and smile with the staff

This is our go to place for anything Asian. Their sushi is delicious and the rolls are the perfect size. The drunken fried rice is my favorite rice dish and the pad Thai is amazing.

I brought my sister in law here when she came to visit us in Albuquerque. This is my favorite place to eat in this city. When I really want to splurge, I eat sushi, because this place is the only place I know this far inland to get really fresh and well prepared sushi. When I am not splurging I get the crispy eggplant, which is so good, and more affordable. On this trip we did a little of both.

completely disappointed. kids menu rainbow chicken, turned out to just be chicken fried rice. both kids have finished thier meal and our sushi hadnt even touched the table. after 20 minutes the first plate of sushi arrived. took almost another 10 minutes for our second plate to arrive

I absolutely can't get enough of this place. The atmosphere is so peaceful, particularly during their less busy hours. It's a weekly habit for me to come in, order some affordable yet delicious sushi, and relax with a book.
While I haven't tried the whole menu, everything that I have tried from both the sushi and regular menus has been excellent.
The staff is friendly, the food is great, and the atmosphere can't be beat.

Hands down my favorite sushi restaurant in Albuquerque. I've been coming here for over 6 years. I love the atmosphere and food. The Sushi is amazing and always fresh (considering we r in New Mexico).
The sushi lunch special which u can't beat anywhere else in abq is affordable and they give u the same serving for the special as a regular menu item.
The hot and sour, egg drop and veggie soup is amazing. Love love this place.

I went here with my boyfriend for the first time tonight. He had been several times and I'm a very picky eater when it comes to Asian cuisine. I don't like drowning in sauce, or stripping away from the original dishes of the Orient. This place was FANTASTIC! I had the Chicken Lo Mien and it was just wonderful! Plenty on the plate, plenty of veggies and chicken. Delicious sauce even with a kick of pepper which is original. Plus the atmosphere is like stepping into well, a paradise. We were seated in a very comfy booth next to a beautiful wall mural of the ocean. Wonderful place and we will definitely be returning soon! Did I mention that we both got entrees, drinks, his entree with shrimp..and it was 30 bucks even with the tip! Can't beat those prices either :) Well done Pacific Paradise Tropical Grill and Sushi Bar!

I was there with a large group and everyone enjoyed their meals! Great variety of soups, entrees and desserts and there were no complaints in our group. The sushi was delicious and we all agreed that we would go back again!!
