I absolutely can't get enough of this place. The atmosphere is so peaceful, particularly during their less busy hours. It's a weekly habit for me to come in, order some affordable yet delicious sushi, and relax with a book.
While I haven't tried the whole menu, everything that I have tried from both the sushi and regular menus has been excellent.
The staff is friendly, the food is great, and the atmosphere can't be beat.
Hands down my favorite sushi restaurant in Albuquerque. I've been coming here for over 6 years. I love the atmosphere and food. The Sushi is amazing and always fresh (considering we r in New Mexico).
The sushi lunch special which u can't beat anywhere else in abq is affordable and they give u the same serving for the special as a regular menu item.
The hot and sour, egg drop and veggie soup is amazing. Love love this place.

We have driven by Pacific Paradise hundreds of times, but never went in. So when a friend wanted to meet us there, we readily agreed. How have we missed this wonderful restaurant all these years? We loved it and returned within a week.
Their food is delicious and their menu goes on and on, with dishes from a wide variety of Asian countries...oh, and Hawaii. Plus they have an excellent sushi bar. (The Pacific Paradise Roll is amazing.) We need to go back many times just to try all the dishes that called to us.
But it's going to be hard not to order the crispy eggplant every time. We ordered this just because it sounded good and it was a huge hit. Disks of deep fried eggplant in the most delicious, addictive glaze! If you go here, you MUST order this dish (you must, you must).
Also, the rice pizza is amazing...either the seafood or the drunken versions. Sounds weird and it's hard to describe, but trust us, it's delicious.
Photos are the crispy eggplant (after almost half was eaten) and softshell crab and vegetable tempura.
Go on line and look at their menu, but leave yourself lots of time because it's like reading War and Peace.
Lots of food! Not a lot of bucks! (The price we paid per person included apps, sushi, and sake.)

A hidden gem! Our friends actually found out about the place and come here frequently, so they recommended we try it out. It was extremely well decorated, and totally decked out with a partial ship, palm trees, and a lot of “pacific” decor. The service was 10/10 as our waiter was extremely attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The food was great and we enjoyed our first time here. Definitely will be coming back in the future!
I’ve been going to pacific paradise for years and it is one of my favorite restaurants for Sushi though they have a huge variety of other tasty items. The prices are reasonable and the service is always friendly! They have a great Sake selection and the deserts are delicious too, make sure to save room!
Very delicious food. The softshell crab feeds both the eye and mouth. The Thai drunken fried rice is very well seasoned but not too salty or sweet. My favorite of all is actually the steamed fish with ginger and green scallions. The broth is absolutely fantastic. The seasoning is just right, honestly possibly the top 2 steamed fish I ever had in my life (and I had this dish many times).
Friendly people. Great atmosphere tasty food. Especially loved there shrimp tempura and fried eggplant to get started. Yellow tail sushi was by far my favorite from sushi order. If you are around San Pedro and Candelaria I highly recommend you stop in and treat yourself.
Such a wonderful, friendly, attentive waitress to a party of 8. The food was delicious -i recommend the curry. Everyone in my table was happily satisfied with their dishes. Will come back. Enjoyed the vibe and decor 🙂
By far some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. We were in town visiting and I saw it had great reviews so we decided to try it out. The attention to detail is great, the miso soup was delicious and the sushi was beyond this world. Definitely would recommend, it’s worth every penny I promise.

The food here is amazing. And the "Heat" level is awesome I had drunken noodles at level 11 and my face broke a sweat. Loved every minute of it. The squid salad is the best..
